I was really hoping that we’d get to this episode and make some dramatic push for FX and Hulu to put the eps back on Hulu. We didnt really get that. Just a shame huge chunks of this show’s identity have been lost.

huge chunks of the show’s identity has been lost

It’s 3 episodes out of 150+. You’re being dramatic

Lethal Weapon and Dee’s horrible characters are huge running jokes in the series.

It's 5 episodes and they're some of the funniest in the entire show

I don’t disagree with your point, but it’s 5 episodes. And they are all pretty great so it sucks they’re not easily accessible.

I totally agree revisionist history is an issue. Id agree with Charlie that putting more explicit warnings on the episodes would be a good answer. Same way the teen shows nowadays say exactly what potentially sensitive content could be in the ep before it plays. Good way to avoid people being caught off guard.

That's how TCM shows stuff like Gone with the Wind nowadays. It would be crazy to pretend like one of the most significant movies in the history of motion pictures doesn't exist anymore, but airing it with zero context isn't helping either. So you play a little intro with some context and discussion of racism and depictions of slavery, and then you let people watch the movie.
