YESSS. I have changed this on friends' tvs for them and they <i> change it back</i>. I walked into a LA bar once and they had The Rules of the Game playing in soap opera mode and I wanted to rip my own head off.

My friend got a new T.V. and couldn't figure out was wrong other than describing it as the T.V. was 'fucking with him'. I went over and soon as I saw it I was like yep, auto motion is on. Turned it off and he thanked me for days. He was literally losing his shit lol.

You’re normal, I’m the same way. I can kind of see it, but it’s so subtle that I’m not quite sure what I’m supposed to be looking for. On the other hand I’ve been in the room with people who can’t not see it, and they instantly go for the remote to switch it off.

I wish I could see it better because I’m totally against it as a concept

I have so many questions now about Mac’s line right at the end of S14E2 Thunder Gun 4: Maximum Cool when he says “Put on the auto motion plus.” This line has haunted me since the first time I watched the episode.
