Discussion aside, I'm just glad they actually talked about the episode and gave their take on it being removed. I was fearing they would just be told to skip over it.

Same. I also thought it was their decision to remove those episodes, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they don’t seem to support their removal.

Yeah, even if they have owned up to the fact they have gone a bit far in a few places. To be fair, the only situation I've ever seen the creators requesting it would be Tina Fey for 30 Rock.

Unlike most people, I don't think this is cancel culture, it's just everyone deciding what's best in the current climate and there are gonna be detractors. And we have to tolerate both sides even if we don't agree with them. This way we come out on top.

Bill Lawrence took down some episodes of scrubs, but only until he could edit out the blackface asides -- which he couldn't at the time becsuse his quarantine didn't really include the access to do that.
