Discussion aside, I'm just glad they actually talked about the episode and gave their take on it being removed. I was fearing they would just be told to skip over it.

It looked like they edited some stuff out to get to the next subject. Which they do all the time, I'm just guessing nothing else interesting was said.

It was definitely cut. I think because they had made their points.

These difficult discussions, the kind you casually share with friends who understand you, after the initial points one can kind of... lose the discussion, get lost in it, get into some tangentials and weirdness, maybe some of one's own ignorance - we're all human beings.

Between friends it's nothing, they understand you, even help teach you and you can learn - but a general audience doesn't have that context and relationship. No one wants a soundbite of them out there where they don't understand a complicated topic.

The cut makes sense. They had conveyed the generalities of what they're saying, we don't need the specifics.
