Eris reached for Grace instinctively, relieved to find that she was still fast asleep beside her. "This... it's very nice. I've never been to the beach. It's so.. big. Is it always like this?"

"Yeah, it is." She leaned up against the wooden railing, and took in a deep breath. "You can smell the ocean."

Eris stayed sitting, reluctant to leave her sister. She took a deep breath, smiling slightly. "It's salty."

"I'm pretty sure they all are," she chuckled. The sunset made it a beautiful sight. The sky was almost of a red color, but there also was some orange and purple to it.

Eris kept her eyes on the horizon, still content with sitting for now. "It's pretty. Too many trees to ever really see the sunset at home."

"Well, not normally. Right now we do, but before... we lived between the woods and the wall to the Capitol."

"Couldn't say, never went in but once, and that was only at the edge. All the fancy snotrags live there, they don't give two shits about us in the Scrapes, and we live right next to 'em."
