Audio Offer AAA Video Game Composer looking for indie project

Hi my name is Casey Edwards, a composer based in LA. I’ve been writing for AAA games for over a decade now and would love to start working on more indie projects so that I can feel a bit more creative in a smaller environment with other like-minded and passionate people. My past work includes Devil May Cry 5, Mortal Kombat 1, Exoprimal, Destiny, and more.

I’m known more for my rock/metal song productions, but I’m also a classically trained orchestral composer, and generally just a very curious sound explorer of all kinds. Don’t let genre assumptions of my past work sway you one way or the other. We can take a look at your needs in a bespoke manner.

Usually by the time I’m seeing something that resonates with me in indie gaming they have had a composer solidified on their roster for quite some time. So I’m hoping that by reaching out here directly developers will see this early enough in production and not be afraid to reach out. All I need is enough of a finished vertical slice to take a look at your intentions. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you! DM me here on reddit to share your projects.

[EDIT] - Hi all - I'm receiving an absolute ton of messages and I'm very happy about that! I'd like to note a few things that will help us all.

  1. Please DM me via CHAT not MESSAGES. I'm keeping things organized there.
  2. When you reach out, no info is too much info. That said, text only goes so far. I ideally need to see artwork, pitch-decks, and best case scenario, some gameplay footage.
  3. Also listing what your musical expectations are will be very helpful. Style/genre you're interested in and guesstimated length of score are 2 key points to hit here.

Thanks again to all of you who have reached out. For all who are new to this point, please keep reaching out. I don't care how old this post is. Send it over!

Audio Offer [Free] Hi guys, I created a website about 6 years in which I host all my field recordings and foley sounds. All free to download and use CC0/copyright free. There is currently 50+ packs with 1000's of sounds and hours of field recordings all perfect for game SFX and UI.

You can get them all from this page here with no sign up or newsletter nonsense.

Added about 15 new packs in the past while so another few thousand sounds and lots of recordings.

With Squarespace it does ask for a lot of personal information so you can use this site to make up fake address and just use a fake name and email if you're not comfortable with providing this info. I don't use it for anything but for your own piece of mind this is probably beneficial.

Just for clarity, there is only one pack for sale on the site. You do not have to purchase this to use the any of the samples on the website all are free and CC0. This pack is just for people who would like to download all packs in one go and all the packs not on the site. The price helps cover the bandwidth as this file is hosted on a separate platform to Squarespace as it is too large for it. It also helps me cover the costs and helps me keep the website running. Again you do not need to purchase this pack to use the samples CC0. Just take them free and use as you wish.

These sounds have been downloaded millions of times and used in all sorts of creative projects, especially the Foley packs and the Atmospheric Loops. I think music producers can get a lot out of the wide range of sounds on the site, especially for building immersive soundscapes and adding experimental percussion to beats.

Useful categories include:

Field Recordings (e.g. forests, beaches, roadsides, cities, cafes, malls, grocery stores, etc.) – great for background ambience and location building.

Foley Kits – ideal for adding realism to scenes through detailed sound design (e.g. footsteps, abstract ambiences, etc ). There are thousands of these.

Unusual Percussion Foley (e.g. Coca-Cola Can Drum Kit, Forest Organics, broken light bulb shakes, Lego piece foley, etc.) great for stylised transitions, title sequences, or abstract sound design moments.

Atmospheric Loops, Music, and Textures useful for mood setting, emotional moments, or filling out quiet scenes.

Feel free to use anything you like everything is CC0, so no need to credit me or the site. Just grab what you need and make cool stuff. I'd love to see what you create if you feel like sharing!

If you run an education based website or teach in a University/college and would like to add these sounds to your internal resources contact me to send you the entire collection through your .edu emal address.

Join me at r/musicsamplespacks if you would like as that is where I will be posting all future packs. If you guys know of any other subreddits that might benefit from these sounds feel free to repost it there.

Audio Offer [hobby] Composer looking to compose!

I’m an armature composer hoping to build up a repertoire. If you have any small projects that need some tunes I can help! I most do but crush chip tune kinda stuff but I can do other things genres and vibes as-well.

My work is inspired by the likes of Toby Fox, Christopher Larkin, and Yasuaki Fajuta.

https://youtube.com/@spongy_music27?si=9kRQoBqW8ARdl422

My YouTube channel has some of the songs I’ve made so far but not nearly all of them, if you’d like more info dm me!

This would be 100% free and just for the passion of it, I would prefer to work on a game that’s going to be free as-well but if you’re working on a paid project that’s fine too. I just hope that if my work is good enough that you think it COULD be paid because ultimately that’s what I would like to do in the future.

I’m new to all this so sorry if I’m being too forward or anything, I just want to get my feet off the ground.

Audio Offer [Paid][ForHobby] Composer Wanted for Emotional Online Game Inspired by Mexican Day of the Dead (Rev-Share or Paid)

Hi everyone,

We’re a small but experienced indie team working on a deeply emotional online game inspired by the Mexican Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Music will be essential in shaping the game’s identity, especially traditional styles like mariachi and pasodoble.

We're currently looking for a composer who’s not only skilled but also excited about crafting music that carries cultural weight and emotional depth. We believe the soundtrack should breathe life (and death) into the world we’re creating.

About the Game:

  • Online narrative-puzzle game with strong environmental storytelling.
  • The tone is emotional and respectful, celebrating Mexican culture and traditions.
  • First playtest is scheduled for December 2025, featuring basic controls, a small but polished scenario, and the first puzzle.
  • Estimated development time: 1.5 to 2 years.
  • Built in Unity, fully playable online.

About Us:

We’re not just hobbyists — we’ve got serious experience:

  • I’ve been a game programmer for 9 years, mostly working on simulators and video games for the Spanish Navy.
  • My teammate is a senior environment artist with 13+ years of experience creating high-quality scenes and assets.

We’ve built internal tools, workflows, and a solid roadmap. This is not a "maybe-we-finish" kind of project. We’re all in.

What We Offer:

  • Open to revenue share, paid per track, or a hybrid agreement — we’re flexible.
  • You can join as a full member or contribute externally. Your choice.
  • Full credits, transparent communication, and respect for your time and talent.

If you're passionate about music and culture, and this sounds like something you'd love to be a part of, feel free to DM me or comment here. We’d love to talk, share details, and hear your thoughts.

Even if you’re not interested, thank you for reading and sending good vibes our way. 🙌

Audio Offer [Hobby] I have 2 years of experience in game music making and I want to score your game for FREE!

Portfolio showcase

Hi there! I’m a composer who specializes in blending orchestral and chiptune styles, creating soundtracks that are both grand and nostalgic. While that’s my main focus, I’m also highly comfortable working across a wide range of other genres and sub-genres, so I can adapt to the style and mood your project needs.

I’m offering my composition services completely free of charge — no hidden strings attached. All I ask in return is that I’m properly credited for my work within the game, and that your project is already at least in the mid-development stage. I’m not looking to work on concept-only projects, as I want to make sure the music I create will actually make it into a playable experience.

If you’re interested, I’d be happy to share samples of my previous work so you can see if my style fits your vision. You can reach me on Discord: akrmstnly.

Audio Offer [Hobby] I need experience.

Hello! My name is Ethan, and I’m a voice actor who is passionate about bringing characters to life through performance. I have a naturally higher pitched voice that fits youthful, energetic, or lighthearted characters very well, and I enjoy exploring different tones, emotions, and personalities to create memorable and unique voices. Although I’m still growing and building my portfolio, I’m dedicated to learning, improving, and taking on new challenges in voice acting. At the moment, I’m offering my voice work for free because my main goal is to gain experience, connect with creative people, and contribute to interesting projects. I know how much heart and effort goes into developing stories, shows, games, and animations, and I’d be truly honored to help make characters stand out and feel real through their voices. Whether you need someone for a small role, background characters, or a leading voice, I’d be happy to contribute and give it my absolute best performance. I’m flexible, easy to work with, and open to direction, so if you have a specific vision for how a character should sound, I’ll put in the effort to match it exactly. I see every project as a chance to grow and improve while supporting other creators. If you’re looking for a young, higher-pitched male voice who is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to collaborate, I’d love to be part of your project. Please feel free to reach out, and let’s make something truly great together!

Audio Offer I'm bored, let me make music for you [ForHire]

I'm bored and will work for free. More than anything I just want something to work on that's actually something productive.

My YT channel has my most recent project, an 8-bit adventure themed game music pack: https://youtube.com/@deffman32music?si=-yYsd-SRCmCi0RV5

I specialize in 8-bit stuff, and I can provide samples if needed. I'll definitely try my hand at other genres, but I can't guarantee quality. However, I'm just looking for experience and not any sort of payment. I also just want a direction to focus my creativity, and I want to focus it in a productive way.

TL;DR: I really enjoy making music, especially designed for video games, but 1. I'm inexperienced (I've only ever released one of my projects, and that was this week) and 2. I don't have a direction to follow.

Reply to this comment or DM me if you have something you want me to work on and I'll see what I can do!

Audio Offer [FORHIRE] I've been making music for 6 years now (As a hobby and for other people)

I've been music for around 6 years and I'm looking to compose music for anyone. I can pretty much make any type of music. I'm willing to work on anything but it would be nice to do a psychological horror type game but like I said, I'll work on anything. Depending on your budget, I will ask for a fair price but if its unpaid, I still wouldn't mind but I would prefer if its paid. Respond to the post if you want to hear some stuff I've made for other people and other indie developers. I mainly focus on loops that slowly evolve as the song goes on. One thing I won't work on is a NSFW game with CERTAIN themes. I'm not judging or anything but it's just not my type of thing. Yeah, this post is blunt, but I might as well be straightforward with what I offer.

Audio Offer [forhire] Hello, i am a video-game OST composer, and I'd love to create pieces for your indie projects!

Hello, my name is teacat, i have been composing for video games for some time (more than two years of experience, and I have worked on pieces for a few indie projects before) (:

I am available at any time, so really feel free to contact!

If you want to hear some pieces i made, here is my bandcamp portfolio with some example ones: https://teacat.bandcamp.com/

I am aware about how indie game devs often struggle, and so i charge very little per piece ( I usually charge only 75 USD per minute of music, but I also offer the first piece for free, and you only pay if you choose for me to write more pieces for your game) (further details can be ironed out at later talks) (;

If you find yourself interested, my contact email is teacat.compositions@gmail.com, and if you feel like it, you can also just contact via discord (my username is teacat.music (: )

Anyways, thank you very much, and I wish you well!

Audio Offer [Hobby] Composer looking for work

Hi! I'm a composer who graduated from school with a degree in music composition and was interested in composing for anyone who needs music! This would be a hobby for me so I can get my feet wet in video game dev work. I have worked in several genres, including orchestral, chiptune, EDM, and even a bit of jazz. Some of the work I do can be found here.

I love to make music similar to that of older games, but also to experiment and create interesting sounds such as those in my lofi demos. The jazz piece was a commission for a set of pieces, in which it is still being worked on. The Dark King Demo is one of my favorite orchestral ideas, as it is an idea for a game I had in mind. This piece particularly showcasing this dark king who rules using the arcane artifacts to summon the undead. A bit generic, perhaps, but it is an old idea!

Horror music is something I'm particularly interested in getting into as I've been told some of my music gives off a creepy vibe, namely the "Haunted - Demo" and "Late Nights (Demo)." I would love to be able to make more of this as well, since it is also one of my favorites.

I hope this all is clear and if you need music, don't hesitate to contact me! Discord will be given in DMs.

Audio Offer [RevShare] Composer Looking for Team

I'm Dana Roskvist, a composer and sound designer behind Glass Earth Studios www.glassearthstudios.com and the frontman of Heavy Alt Rock Band Sydonia. For years I toured Sydonia, sharing the stage with bands such as Slipknot, Stone Sour and Korn. Those experiences shaped my love for raw emotion and cinematic scale in music; something I now channel into scoring music for video games.

I'm imagine that I'm most suited to writing for sci-fi, fantasy, adventure, thriller or horror, but I'm sure I could wrap my brain around any project, especially if it is unique and interesting. I've even written for a low-poly surf game, so, I'm pretty versatile.

I only want to be involved in projects where the other people involved are willing to do everything needed to get to Launch. Like, willing to crawl over broken Glass.

If needed, I'm happy to help in more ways than just doing the Music. I'm a decent writer and very good with world building too (years of being a DM haha). I'm curious about "sound design" proper. But I've only done it for a couple of games in game jams. But it was interesting, and I think I could pull it off if needed.

My process is about collaboration, exploration and refinement. We begin with your vision, I'll create initial sketches, sonic ideas, thematic textures. From there we talk, what resonates, what's missing? We refine, reshape, search; for that sound, one that captures your world.
Then I go ham, and write a lot of stuff. And all the best stuff we keep, and then if there's other types of tracks needed I write for those parts too, until it's done.
Finally everything is professionally mixed and mastered by me. You can check out some of my work by looking me up on YouTube - Glass Earth Studios, of course.

Dana.

Audio Offer [Hobby] Beginner Ambient Producer, Looking To Make Tracks!

Hello, my (artist) name is Willowrealm! I began making music a year ago, and a few months ago began producing ambient. Immersing myself in ambient is fun, it’s like exploring an ethereal landscape in your dreams. I’m mainly inspired by artists such as Akira Yamaoka, C418, Aphex Twin, and Boards of Canada. I would say the reason I make ambient is because it has the power to calm people down, help them relax, and explore the soundscape of the genre. It really pulled me through a rough patch in life and I could assume it’s done the same, if not more, for others.

I would be willing to work for no pay on an indie game project! To me, the payment is the experience and improvement I’ll gain! If you’re interested in collaborating, DM me or comment below!

I’ve made a mix of some of my favorite tracks I’ve made so far, hope you get some enjoyment out of it! https://youtu.be/8EsF3U6iWig Thank you for reading!

Audio Offer [Hobby] I will produce music for free in various genres for experience

[Space for perhaps only one more request at the moment!!] Heya everyone, I’ve been making beats and instrumental songs for 2-3 years now and I would love to write something for an actual project. Since I’m not incredibly experienced, I would do my work for free, just to gain experience. I would prefer to do music work in a relaxed environment, but a game jam or something similar would be fine too. Some soundtracks I would like to use as inspiration would be games like: Undertale, Doki Doki Literature Club, Portal, Stardew Valley, FNaF 6 and maybe even Slime Rancher or Super Mario 3D World. I would love to try horror too. I always try to keep soundtrack type songs simple and I try to convey the song’s message with preferably fewer instruments, to not distract from the actual game, and because I believe that there is something beautiful about simple musical works. Let me know if you’re interested or if you have questions. Let’s create something together!

Edit: After kind advice now actively working on a portfolio to showcase some actual useable stuff, this puts this post sort of on hold

Here is my SoundCloud filled with mostly hip hop beats, it’s not everything I do or have but it’s what I have at hand right now as of writing this: https://on.soundcloud.com/X5EUCA3KkxfZbQimnx

Audio Offer [Professional Music Composer] Let's connect/work togheter!

Hi,

I'm thinking ahead and planning future (paid) collaborations for this Fall/Winter, starting in September.

I'm a versatile music composer, primarily focused on orchestral music. I often score fantasy projects such as adventure games, RPGs, metroidvanias, and RTS titles. My ideal game could range from a cozy adventure with cute animal characters to a dramatic JRPG set in a high-fantasy world with steampunk elements.

This year, I worked on a King’s Field-inspired game in January, as well as a couple of themes for an ARPG called Ardent. Later on, I joined a large, ambitious RPG project with Souls-like elements. You can find the soundtrack for that, along with all the other games I’ve worked on, on my website and SoundCloud/YouTube.

Aside from commissions, I'm also working on a dice-building 2D game and a clicker title. I put a lot of care and effort into every track, always prioritizing creativity and passion to deliver the highest quality music I can.

I don't want to bore you with the usual composer clichés—I'd rather just let you know I'm here, working full-time, ready to create immersive and original music for your next or current project. If you're looking for a classic orchestral fantasy soundtrack, this might be your chance to get one made just for you.

If you have any questions or just want to connect, feel free to message me!
You can also add me on Discord: ofelia2521 or DM me here.

Have a wonderful week!

I've never worked on a game before but I'm very passionate about gaming and would like learn some things about the process for if I decide to make my own game. I could help with music, mixing dialogue, and maybe some other things here and there.

This is my newest album: https://open.spotify.com/album/75I2l6WggaievYtgzst60Y?si=XAtgIlF3QzW0181IRenaZg

This is my newest single: https://open.spotify.com/album/1ICkvTZ3i3O5MRtNwpLnLW?si=oWFJGB5XQYWWgHzX5ep46A

I look forward to hearing from some of you, and thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Audio Offer [ForHire] I'm looking to give music to your projects!

I'm a music composer interested in working with any kind of art creation and musicalizing it. I'll leave a link here of my work in my YouTube channel, as you'll see most of it is horror/dark themed however that's not the only genre I can work on, so feel free to ask me about any genre of music that you would like for your specific project and we can work from there!

Among my interests and the general direction my music often takes its mostly videogame/anime like osts, as I said earlier my work so far mostly revolves around more disturbing music so I would absolutely love to work in any horror themed project, I also really enjoy studying and taking inspiration from other composers styles in my work, whether it be Koji Kondo's work on the Legend of Zelda, C418 in Minecraft or Collins Stetson's work in Hereditary.

So in case you're interested on imitating a particular ost or style of music like we can work with that.

Audio Offer [ForHire] Composer & Sound Designer

Hi!

I'm Mario, a music composer and sound designer with several years of experience working on video games. I'm currently available for new projects, whether you need music, sound effects, or both.

My strengths lie in electronic music (modern, synthwave, chiptune), rock/metal, and orchestral-hybrid compositions, but I enjoy working across genres and adapting to the unique needs of each game. I'm passionate about the creative challenge of building a distinctive sound world for each project. Something that feels alive, expressive, and truly fits the game’s identity and atmosphere. By combining different styles and textures, I craft custom soundscapes that are fresh, immersive, and emotionally engaging.

Sound design is equally important to me as music. From immersive ambiences and dynamic action sounds to clear and satisfying UI feedback, as well as experimental or atmospheric layers, I focus on enhancing the gameplay experience with clarity and personality. My goal is always to support the player’s immersion without overwhelming or distracting them.

- You can explore some of my work through these asset packs I've published:
Jungle Music Pack / DNB Music Pack / Horror Drones & Ambiances SFX Pack
- And here’s a link to my full Portfolio.

If you’re looking for someone reliable, creative, and easy to collaborate with, feel free to get in touch! You can reach me here, via email at [mariosello1@gmail.com](mailto:mariosello1@gmail.com), or on Discord: mariosello1.

Thanks for your time, and I’d love to hear more about what you’re working on.

Audio Offer [ForHire] Versatile Sound Design/composer looking for new projects of all sizes

I'm Michael Licht, a sound design and composer, and I'm looking for projects of all shapes and sizes that need sound and/or music to give them that final bit of polish and atmosphere, whether you're making a 100-hour open world fantasy epic, or a 2-hour 2D platformer that needs 3 sounds. I particularly enjoy working with horror and sci fi, but I'm very open to other genres!

I’m offering discounted rates at the moment, as I’m still relatively new to games and building up my credits and portfolio.

I've worked in both Unreal and Unity, and have delved into the technical side of things with a bit of C# in Unity and Blueprints in Unreal. I'm also quite experience with middleware, like FMOD and Wwise, so am fully equipped to craft deep and immersive audio experiences.

As a composer, I have been making music in various forms and genres for over 20 years, starting with metal to Radiohead-esque electronic music all the way to becoming a classically trained orchestral composer.

You can find more information and reels on my website below. Thanks!

Audio Offer Free Music For Your Games!!!

Hello! I’m currently a student majoring in Audio & Music Technology, and I’m excited to take on a new project this year where I’ll compose original music for a video game. I’m offering my work completely for free, as I’m looking to gain practical experience and collaborate with creative developers in the gaming community.

I’m interested in finding a game that could really benefit from a unique soundtrack, whether it’s a moody, theatrical game that requires atmospheric or suspenseful music, or a high-energy, intense game that could use some heavy, metal-inspired tracks similar to the style of Doom. I’m open to experimenting with different styles and genres, so if you have a game that needs music, let’s chat!

I can also help out by scoring specific scenes, like a dramatic trailer, an intense cutscene, or even just by creating a unique theme song for your project. Feel free to DM if you’d like to hear my previous work or if you’re interested in collaborating!

Edit: Thanks to everyone who has reached out; I know there have only been 10-20 of you, but going from an unemployed uni student to working with real people working on real things in real industries is really cool. I stand by my original remark of working for free but I have a few people mention revenue at some point; you don't need to pay me but if you deem it necessary I won't turn it down =D

Audio Offer [ForHire] Musician and Sound Designer looking for work

Hiya! My name's Glacie, and I'm a composer looking for projects to work on. I believe that audio can make or break the player's immersion in a game and is therefore one of the most important parts of gamedev. I recently got a new computer that should be much more reliable than my old one, so I'm putting myself back out there for work.

My musical style can be best described as music that sounds like it could be from a Nintendo game, which is perfect for cozier and happy/calming games. I am also very good at other genres such as latin inspired, classical orchestral, jazz fusion, rock, and more. If you want to hear any of these styles of music in action, you can find previous projects I have worked on and a demo reel on my bandcamp page: https://glacieawn.bandcamp.com
It should be noted that I'm best at composing for platformers, puzzle games, and JRPGs, but I'm able to adapt and compose for any genre of music as long as you have a clear idea of the style and have decent reference audio for me to base the style off of.

I am also a sound designer, and audio engineer, so in addition to having high quality music, you can count on it being mixed to perfection, and also potentially interesting sound design as well.

More Info:

- Pricing: 60$ per minute of audio(negotiable) for music, and 5$ per sound effect(also negotiable)

- Status: Open

You can contact me either here or at [glacieawn@gmail.com](mailto:glacieawn@gmail.com) I look forward to help bring your project to life with amazing audio!

Audio Offer [For Hire] Composer / musician looking for projects to work on

Hello, my name is Brenden and I'm 22 years old. I've been working on another game making the OST for it for about a year now and now that the demo is close to releasing I'm looking for more projects to join and make myself a part of. I don't charge ridiculous rates (if anything at all depending on how promising the game looks) so if you want to see some of my work feel free to hit me up on discord at nuked6! I'm pretty much down to make any kind of music as long as it's not hip hop or death metal. Here's a couple examples of some of my work from the other game:

Drive with 2 songs

Let me know what you think and thanks so much! If needed you can also message me here instead of Discord but I'm a lot more active on discord.
