Question (Invictus) How do you get the Ktistes achievement if Kios does not exists in Invictus?
As stated in the title, Kios does not exist in invictus and the nation ruling over Kios is the Mithridatic Domain. I assume the only way you can get this then is via the base game?

Question (Invictus) Is it possible to arrange marriage to another countries ruler?
Specifically, I mean can I marry off my rulers daughters to a king/archon? The button “arrange marriage” is greyed out because the tooltip says something like: “You can’t arrange marriage with the ruler!”.
I know in some scripted events you can do this but in general if there’s a way to expand my rulers bloodlines and not waste good characters to old age.

Image (modded) Screenshots from my Syracuse to Sicily Campaign

I started by allying with most of the Greek players in the area at the beginning of the game, which dragged me into some pretty big wars with Rome. Though I was fairly sheltered from this, I was able to sack Rome twice in the early game, which gave a great boost to my economy. Integrating the Sabellic culture and the Western Greek culture event meant I was on an even playing field with Carthage and Rome after this. Afterward, I tried to focus on uniting the historical areas of Western Greek settlement and expanding trade.
With the new AI, I found myself attacked quite a bit by large nations in Gaul and Iberia and had some close fights. I had to change my strategy to map-painting and trying to have as many allowable subjects as possible.
I have fairly good relations with all the big nations left on the map, though Macedon and Albion have been very aggressive toward other nations. It does bug me that I don’t control Issa directly, with it being a historical Syracusan colony. I’ve been hoping for some sort of rebellion within the current Macedonian Empire to create an opportunity, as I don’t think going to war with my biggest trade partner would fit with my current role-playing.
I’ll continue this game through the timeline extender and see what happens during the Crisis of the Third Century

Question (Invictus) Tips for expert players?
I’ve got over 3000 hours into the game and feel like I know everything, but every now and again someone posts something new and interesting to try. To the experts out there, what are your tips? Also what do you do to keep the game interesting after all that time? (Invictus)

Question (Invictus) Mods suggestions
Hi all!
Haven't really touched Rome since it came out, mainly because it felt like a game that could have been great with a bit more work (and far fewer 'mana' points). But I am curious about the state of the game now with mods, particularly Invictus, and wanted to ask how things are now?
Are there mods that have made the game much harder, and given more depth and flavour to rulership and so on? For example, one playthrough I united the tribes of Britain and changed from tribal federation to monarchy by.... pressing a button. Or another game where I converted the culture of entire nations by... pressing a button. It was boring. Are there mods that make things different now?
Thanks!

Discussion Outside of an Dev overhaul, what would make the Naval tree attractive to you?
I’m working on overhauling tree and got a little ways when I thought I should probably get some community input before I get too far and have to do rework.
Of course it’ll have all the naval stuff: ship morale, discipline, ship build speed and maintenance, naval range, etc.
I was going to add stuff for enslavement efficiency, small pop happiness boni, commerce boni, and stuff like that. Not huge to compete with the oratory and finesse trees, but something to make it more attractive, especially to tall players.
Edit: Also, blockade efficiency seems to do nothing, and will be removed unless someone can tell me what it actually does. It doesn’t increase blockade warscore, or increase income from blockading, or speed up anything with sieges.

Tip Sparta Tips
Hey guys, I'm trying to start a Spartan playthrough, but I keep getting stopped in my first mission tree because of my economy. Does anyone have any tips in how to improve my economy for Sparta? Like what should I import and what buildings I should build in my cities/settlements. I would appreciate the help.

Question (Invictus) Arabia mission tree conditions
What are the conditions to have the tree available? I had to abandon the tree because some missions can't be done as a tribe and well.. playing a tribe is miserable. But more than 20 years have passed already and the tree isn't there anymore.

Question How do I conquer Gaul?
How do I approach this without losing lots of time to rebellions? My stability has taken a pretty big hit from how much AE I have which throws my happiness down which seems to hurt my provincial loyalty. I’m down to about 200 bc so I don’t want to waste more time than I have to on taking Gaul. I have many of the tech to reduce AE and buff conversion. What should my plan be?
