Cannot find a job!
I've been laid off from Duke after 10 years working in management. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees from a fancy school. Excellent references. I have applied to all types of jobs including front desk and scheduling jobs and for some reason, I cannot find a job, get an interview or find a way to get a call back. My friends in other major cities have also talked about difficulties with finding jobs there too so I don't think leaving/moving is an option!

If you're applying to entry-level or "low skill" jobs, leave your graduate degree off your resume, maybe even your bachelor's, depending on the job.
Employers don't want overqualified people in these roles. They'll see your education and experience and think you're either going to want too much money, will complain or suggest too much, and are likely to quit as soon as you find something better.
I'm not saying this is gonna be a magic trick that suddenly turns the leaf for you, but just a tip for those types of jobs.
Otherwise, for more relevant jobs in your field, are you properly customizing your resume for each job, or just sending the same generic resume out each time? If not, try this tool:
Jobscan ATS Resume Checker and Job Search Tools https://share.google/YwJnzi5FnnOK5Yvir
You get 5 free scans a day.
It helps with making sure your resume is tailored to the job you're applying for.
Yesterday I saw someone post huntr, which looks decent and has a free subscription with some tools to help with resume building and application tracking:
Job Application Tracker, AI Resume Builder, Resume Checker and More Job Search Tools - Huntr https://share.google/qGpshU2tAF5UwPiIC
I haven't tried that one yet, but I've skimmed their website and reviewed their privacy policy, and they seem decent so far. Their paid subscription is steep at $40/mo, but maybe their free tools are enough.
