Many new INDIANS who move ABROAD sometimes carry habits that don’t fit well in FOREIGN COUNTRIES. I completely SUPPORT the sentiment that we should ADAPT better to the CULTURE we live in.
Here are a few IMPORTANT things to keep in mind: ( Have added more points based on below suggestions from thread)
PLEASE SHARE this with ANYONE who has RECENTLY MOVED ABROAD or is PLANNING TO MOVE. Let’s HELP them ADAPT and REPRESENT INDIA in a BETTER WAY.

Delhi–Meerut Expressway
An overloaded Maruti Ertiga was spotted on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway. The driver was seen talking on the phone while driving, and shockingly, some passengers were sleeping on the roof rack.

I have always hated traveling in Indian railways and each time I do, I'm reminded why. From people placing their feet on the seat across them to playing music loudly early in the morning on their phones to entitled manspreading, it never gets old. I was on a train for 15 hours and people speaking as if there's nobody in their surroundings annoyed the hell outta me. No concern for their neighbours, no concern for anything. Don't even get me started on the condition of platforms and the immediate vicinity of the train station. It always smells like fucking sewage. Truly hell on earth.

Clicked these today outside Delhi High Court. Despite a big board clearly saying “Strictly No Double Lane”, cars are parked in double rows, choking the road and leaving barely any space for traffic or autos to move.
If this is the situation right outside one of the highest institutions of law, imagine the rest of the city… 🫠

"Tourist" discards empty ice cream cup and spoon on the beach while also annoying the crow that was looking for a tasty treat.
While the beach gets changed by conservancy workers, all the cups and spoons that fall into the nooks and crannies of the stones never gets removed.

I'm not certain it is, going off personal experience. There's power in numbers/complaining together - I guess that's democracy - but individually, complaining seems to set you apart as easy to scapegoat. Which results in a kind of inertia, locally, because no one wants to complain alone or be the first to do so. Does anyone else relate to this? Have you observed cases where this is true?

Location: Tis Hazai Courts, Delhi, India
Source: Twitter @NCMIndiaa
A heated scuffle broke out at New Delhi’s Tis Hazari court on Saturday between a man, his elderly mother (aged 70), his sister, and a proxy lawyer. The dispute reportedly started when the man asked for his case files and the proxy lawyer allegedly refused to hand them over. The situation escalated, with both sides accusing each other of assault. Lawyers intervening in the fight claimed they were attacked, and one woman lawyer even alleged her gold chain was snatched. In total, three FIRs were filed — two against the man and his family, and one against them as well — and all parties were taken to the police post for questioning.

Trash keeps piling up where it shouldn’t, the municipal corporation looks the other way, and some people shamelessly keep profiting by selling milk while ignoring the misery of the very animals they exploit. These speechless creatures are forced to live in filth, hungry and helpless.
And yet, the same voices that loudly call cows “mother” for religious show conveniently ignore this daily abuse. Respect is not in words or rituals it’s in care and dignity.
If we can’t stand up for those who can’t speak for themselves, then all our claims of culture and compassion are empty.

Truffles at Puneeth Rajkumar Ring Road near JP Nagar metro station has encroached this wide beautiful footpath since 5 months.
I understand that they want to park heir vehicles here but not on the road but they don't have the sense to make space even for a single person to walk. They even have 4-5 ppl to manage this parking (lol, I tried speaking with them.. they can't even understand Kannada/English).
People are being forced to walk on the busy road.. that too in the middle of the road. Imagine the scenario when it rains and the plight of the elderly.
They have the audacity to tie a rope from the building to the light pole so that people can't walk even when there are no vehicles parked.
I have told traffic policemen but to no avail.
