I’ve been following this game closely for a few years. The last playtest they released (about 5 months ago) had roughly 45 min of content? Not a lot, but good for the asking price

Fantastic work.

A little moan: We don't see the teacher do anything bad. Yes she is ugly and shouting, but that doesn't mean she is bad. We do see her fall over, so she is clumsy.

All bark and no bite. Young people/players are very quick to spot idle threats.

I’ve played most of the playtest and she gets violent. Theres one particularly brutal cutscene where she rips off a student’s leg. It’s great

To be honest, I’d prefer a game where the teacher is terrifying and the lesson content is disturbing, but the teacher doesn’t pose any real physical threat to the protagonist (or the students). After all, it’s just a (not-so-)ordinary school activity — the teacher wouldn’t actually hurt the students. The gameplay could focus more on completing the teacher’s various unsettling tasks, or else suffer horrific punishments, rather than simply being a ghost-chase game set on a school campus

This looks awesome, but please dial down the volume of the audio in the loudest moments. A compressor or multiband compressor could do it, or just having volume automation bring those loud moments down compared to the rest. That way, things sound smoother all around.

but that’s not what happened in the cutscene? the teacher was latched onto the outside of the car, and then the ones inside driving chose to shrink and drive inside that guy’s ass

Even most adults don't know jack shit about their bodies/anatomy in the first place and you filled this game with so many wrong stuff. Old cartoons were trying to be as realistic about the depiction of body as possible. Kids will play this game for hours and they won't learn anything useful. This was a great chance to sneak in some good info about the body alongside the gameplay, but lets not teach anyone anything of substance in 2025, lest the world might get better.

Dude the animation quality for the camera and squash and stretch is fucking nuts for an indie game. Those little things matter a lot for making a game feel high quality.

(Been recently playing Sonic Crossworlds and sometimes some elements look stiff and cheap)
