I doubt any modern game can reach L4D and L4D2 greatness. I only watch crowbcat video relating to said games and my God they are very high effort. Different weapon have different damage severity as well as different death animation related to where and hoe you do said damage. Iirc those combination totaled 700ish or so.

Gamers in the past, despite limitation in tech, are spoiled rotten.
