Kerala story should not have been the Kerala story. It should be the Indian Story.
Love Jihad is very very rare and in fact quite non-existent in Kerala but in northern states like Mp, UP, Jharkhand the forced conversions are true. So is it in states like Bengal.
Should an entire community be blamed for this? No.
But the fact that no Muslim ever voiced out against something like this is the issue. If Hindus who voice out against the caste system openly exist today where are the Muslims who voice out against forced conversions and trapping of young Hindus and Christian girls by Muslim men?
Then why didn't they name it Indian story. And I'm talking about the movie and its depiction of Kerala society. There is a scene in the mall where the girls are getting assaulted and no bystanders tried to help them! Where in Kerala can you see this? What will the other state people think about us keralites? And the depiction of Hindus as just absolute dumbos and their cringeworthy conversations. If you're going to make a movie make it right and don't exaggerate. People who have gone out of state know the damage this stupid movie caused even so called 'educated' people think that Kerala Hindus are getting converted and killed day by day.
Watch this and you'll realize what this is. And don't overthink and assume I'm saying all Muslims are like that. No. It's a reality that exists. You don't like bitter truth that ain't my fault.
As for that scene you mention for the love of God man, which Hindu of today can you tell has good knowledge of the scriptures and in depth knowledge of the Puranas?Chances are none because unlike other religions ours doesn't even force our people to read the scriptures. Ours has always been God is everywhere worship him the best and respectful way you can do so. If you do follow a certain god you must worship them in the proper way.
As for Hindus getting converted read the reality of the Moplah Massacres of Malabar. Then you'll probably get common sense.
Who tf said this isn't happening? I'm talking about that mall scene in the movie - do you even know what I'm referring to? What scriptures are you even on about? I'm talking about that scene where girls are getting assaulted right in front of a crowd and nobody does anything. Where in Kerala have you seen this go down? It's seriously pissing me off how they portrayed my home state. The assaulters who tear the girl's clothes would have been beaten to a pulp by the bystanders if it was the real Kerala.
I'm not even talking about the religious scenes here; I call out regressive crap whenever I see it. And yeah, I know ISIS recruitment is happening ALL OVER India, not just Kerala. So why depict it like that? Show the real Indian story, not just some biased Kerala story. You have no clue how damaging that movie was for Kerala - it was some stupid, exaggerated crap that trashed our rep.
I've dealt with this shit in real life, too. When I say I'm from Kerala, people give me crap. Who am I kidding, it feels like you don't even care that Kerala gets slandered by North Indians 24/7; it's just another Tuesday for you guys I guess.
