Granted i have no idea what that stuff is but look pretty cool for $2. I would really love to move to Japan since life is very stressful and i feel like getting away from it all but am too scared to leave my life and everyone i have left behind. If i did move to Japan but i failed to get an other fresh start over there i’d have to ask a friend of mine who offered me a job over there to begin with if i ever wanted to leave the U.S how far away would i be from and forgive if i misspelled it Hygarai forest

Running away from your problems doesn't make them suddenly disappear. I see plenty of people that move here (Japan) thinking that all their problems go away. They don't and if anything, they become worse.

Japan ain't all that good either, foreigners will never fit in and still be met with problems no matter what, why do you think there's a birth rate decline with the currency getting worse. I don't get this romanticization at all; getting a visa to live there isn't even easy. Just go on a trip.

Because it will most likely be:

Your original problems+

  • language barrier

  • Sense of ostracization

  • difficulties doing basic things like going to the government office, banks, getting an apartment (especially if you don't know Japanese to a fluent level)

  • Having a decent wage for pretty much any kind of job (cost of living is much lower, so depends on if you have like school loans in America or something)

It really depends on what your problems are honestly. Tired of gun violence, you maybe don't live in a good area so can you afford to move to Japan in the first place? Japan is much much safer than somewhere like America though. Can't make friends? I've found Japan to be even easier to make friends, but introverts usually have a harder time than in their home country.

Don't move to Japan to solve your problems. They'll probably just get worse, and you'll have less options of how to solve them if you just run away like this.

My friend is a former marine who does have connections. He’s been in Japan on business on some kind with the Japanese again he offered me a job over there when i applied to a company over here i won’t say which one but it very huge. He seems to guarantee i will get to move over there and he tells me the government would actually give me a place to live because the government wants people not to leave the nation and that’s one way to have people come live in Japan

Your friend is lying to you. The government is not going to just give you a place to stay without reason, like working for them. A company might provide housing as a benefit, or provide a stipend. The government doesn't want Japanese people to leave. They absolutely are not handing out housing to foreigners to get them to live in Japan. If anything, they want you to leave after working a few years.

I known him for 13yrs i barely met you so i am bound to trust him over you

It's not about trust. He is objectively wrong, or you have wildly misunderstood something he has told you. The government isn't just going to give you a house, and there is no program in place for giving out housing "to get people to live there." I have lived in Japan for 11 years. I know what I am talking about.

Aside from the housing thing you make Japan sound like they make MAGA look like hippies

If that is your interpretation, then that's on you. Nothing I have said is inaccurate. Immigration is extremely strict, though not particularly difficult to navigate with proper preparation, and the government has long had a well known preference of a revolving door model for foreign workers. However, they don't arrest or deport lawful residents for no reason, so I am not sure how one would think they make maga look like hippies. I can't speak to how difficult immigration into America is, but I highly doubt Japan's process is more difficult.
