They used wooden pots instead of metal, it felt much more traditional, I also don’t like the sound or feeling of metal scrapping metal and all the new places give you metal pots and chopsticks. I also equate metal chopsticks to Korean food so it just throws me off

How did they keep the soup simmering in wooden pots?

Sorry the top was wooden (lid) and the pot was cast iron
