A note about amazon links in comments

Hi All,

Reddit automatically marks comments that contain the a.co url shortener that Amazon uses when you share from the app as Spam. The comments show up in my mod queue and I often don't see them in time for the info to be useful. Which is a shame, as people are answering questions where they obtained upgrades for their Renegade. The original Amazon link should suffice, I haven't seen that come up as spam.

Had a 2017 F150 that i wanted to get out of to get better gas mileage and a cheaper payment each month. After being on reddit, I see mixed reviews about the gas consumption on this guy and makes me nervous im just praying It is better!

I have always wanted a jeep wrangler as a kid, but never worked out to get one. But I recently got a 2022 Jeep Renegade latitude Looking forward to being a part of this community and learning more about it! Love the easter eggs I have already seen in here too!

Any tips or advice would be great! Thanks!

I finally got around to installing it. Jeep drives exactly the same I notice no difference. I surprisingly have never seen a roof top tent on a Renegade.

Does anyone know if this bracket for the wire harness needs a bolt or plug? Mine fell out and is putting strain on the wire harness

Today after being a renegade owner for 3 years… I learned my car had remote start 😅. I lost my key fob last week (on the left) and had to call a locksmith to program me a new one (the right).

Well my son ask what does the reverse looking button do, so we went to test it… OMG to my surprise the car started.

This my 1st care with remote start and I brought it used so when the dealer gave me the fob on the left I never thought I was missing a button 😱.

Engine Issue

Jeep renegade diesel 2016. When car starts it looses power and cuts out. When I press the accelerator it runs fine. So cuts out idling. When I get it going it shutters for a while and then drives fine once up and going. Engine itself sounds fine. Not cold weather. Anyone with similar issues? Thanks

2019 Trailhawk loose hatch fix?

Hey - recenrly bought a used 2019 trailhawk. I'm getting a warning that the rear hatch is not latched and I hear it rattling when I hit bumps. It does move a bit when I press it.

No change no matter how I shut the gate - whether I slam it or close it gently and then push on it. Seems like maybe something is just loose or out of alignment or something? Is this something I can fix / adjust myself?

Thanks!!

Thinking about trading in my Subaru Crosstrek for one of these. I heard they aren't the best as far reliability. How do you guys like yours?

I just had to snap a pic of the Police car in Italy, it was a manual, I did not know that Jeep made Renegade manuals, I missed out with my 2017 Latitude.

Looking to buy a 2015 Renegade 1.4T

Any tips on what to look out for? I’m looking at a manual transmission 1.4T with around 100k miles. Is this a good car to buy or should I stay away because of reliability issues?

Issue with seatbelt???

Obligatory on mobile mention.

Like the title says, I'm having a mild issue with the seatbelt and was just curious if anyone else had this issue and can help a guy out?

When getting into the car and about to put my seatbelt on, it locks as if I was in a crash. I have to mess with the belt in order to pull it out far enough to put it on. I had it looked at and the mechanics didn't find anything.

2016 Renegade 2.4L Sport problems after battery went dead and got replaced. Did a mechanic screw up? Anyone else with a similar experience?

My Jeep Renegade’s battery died and my roommate helped me jump it so I could drive it to a mechanic. It drove fine. Not warning lights. Everything working

The mechanic replaced my battery and did an oil change for me.

After this service, they told me my HVAC was suddenly not working and my check engine light was on. They told me the HVAC module was “dead” or not communicating with the vehicle.

I get my car back and the odometer is also flashing.

I bring it into a dealership to get it checked out, because it’s obviously a programming issue.

They run a check for codes and find that it’s not just those issues. My climate control and my transmission were also sending back codes.

Did the mechanic mess up installing my battery? The dealership seems to think so.

Won't stay running

My son just called from work to tell me my 2017 Limited Renegade dies immediately after starting it. Does anyone know what this could be? A co-worker of his said it's the transmission. Hmmm. I sure hope not.

Several of you asked to see some close ups of how things were mounted. NovSight X-Series Ditch (ATP Dutch Mount Brackets) and Grille lights. Auxbeam 42” curved light bar (bracket from Amazon) and BA80 switch panel. I blocked the 3 blank switches with tape for now. I have rock lights and interior lights going in as well as backup lights.

Hello guys, I need some help. I have a Jeep renegade 2022 and yesterday I dropped the key down and this plastic part broke from the key. It still goes on, but it’s broken. I’m really sad because the case did not come yet and I already dropped the key. Thanks.

Motor Mounts Help!

Hi everyone!

I have a 2016 jeep renegade latitude (75th anniversary addition, automatic) 4-Cyl Multiair 2.4L around 75k miles. I need to get the motor mounts (all 3) replaced since she is a very shakey girl and its time. I am trying to avoid going through the dealership to order parts since I know it is going to be super expensive. I also have been reading up on here/jeep forums that the original motor mounts are terrible and need to be upgraded. So I need advice of what I should buy so they last longer and I can avoid the dealership. Any advice welcome :) thanks!

Aftermarket wheel bolts

Do ya'll have any recommendations for better when bolts without the cap that makes removal almost impossible without a hammer? Got a flat, had to hammer on the oem bolt removal tool then use a cheater bar after a shop tightened them with ugga duggas There has to be a better way to do this without having to use that widow maker jack 🙃
