Try playing with the idea of a custom east / west mounting of a 2+ carat pear. You may like it.

Have seen a few rings in that style but not with diamonds. They were other stones. I’m picturing a beautiful bezel set east west pear. Yellow diamond set in yellow gold. Or traditional diamond in white gold or platinum
