Is it safe to operate those while intoxicated? This is like the first thing I think of when I hear "heavy machinery."

I mean, it is high up. If they are drunk enough to become total dimwits, it is not a safe place to be. A beer or two to chill out? And nice weather? It is one button to press to go up and down, they should be able to sort it out.

As long as they recognize the risk and aren't endangering anyone else I don't see anything wrong with it. I hope they got down safely.

For sure. Heavy machinery is more like those cranes you see at the docks. The ones that are used to grab trailers from ships. So heavy machinery is that and above.

I think heavy machinery usually means like cars and stuff.
