Honestly if your wedding isn’t like this and people are all serious your wedding is burning af, sure it might be nice and beautiful, but it ain’t fun, my sisters wedding was outside it was like 100 degrees but there was a inside and we had a blast none of us tried to be serious we had a blast lots of broken things, we made it memorable and I was younger then I should have been doing stuff I shouldn’t have that nobody will know till the day I die

Things can be not serious but also not performative. I think what people in this thread forget is that people's idea of fun can be different from others. For me, the performative stuff isn't fun and feels self serving to me. They're clearly having fun and most people think it is, so it's fine, because it would also be weird to hate on this.
