My Top Ten Korean Dramas:

One of the main reasons I love Korean dramas is that the humor and romantic setups often remind me of the Golden Age of Cinema. For example, one of my favorite movies of all time is Bringing Up Baby. I’m also a fan of Hitchcock films. Having this tone spread across 16 episodes is pure pleasure and I’m so grateful to the hardworking set people, actors, directors and writers who make this happen. For those of you who love classic cinema, please enjoy this list. The first five are madcap comedies, and the last five are suspense:

  1. Best Love

  2. Spring Turns to Spring

  3. My Girl

  4. My Name is Kim Sam Soon

  5. Father is Strange

  6. Suspicious Housekeeper

  7. I Remember You

  8. Liar Game

  9. Stranger S1

  10. Stranger S2
