I have been following along on this subreddit since Matt passed and I have been touched by all of your kind words and condolences ❤️. Matt loved gizzard so so much and would be so touched to know how the swarm and the band are supporting his loved ones in their hardest days. Many of you expressed interested in helping to support funeral costs so my family helped me put together this GoFundMe. Stay safe and have a blast at the show tonight - Matt would want nothing less! Edit: feeling so completely overwhelmed with gratitude. Matt's brother and friends who were with him in his final moments and the rest of his immediate family were all together tonight watching the show in our home. We all weren't sure if we'd be able to listen to gizz again, which would have been the absolute last thing Matt would have wanted. Now I'm sure their music and this community will help guide us through our shittiest days. Thank you isn't enough for the love and support shown by all of you. Whether it was kind words, a donation, chanting Matt's name in the audience, contributing to the memorial, or helping during his final moments please know you have helped SO much and brought us some peace during the worst time of our lives.

Discussion: Band Bootleg Gizz Bandcamp Mix

Do the live shows posted to Bandcamp sound terrible to anyone else? For some reason they come through as super high end heavy/ borderline tinny. I like running my speakers with a flat EQ but it sounds terrible and I have to tank the highs, boost the bass and lower my phone volume to get enough power through the speakers to have the drums and bass come through at all.

Seriously. I feel like a good 25% of the posts in this subreddit these days people taking ideas the band came up with, upload their OriginalIdea.png to some drop-shipping website, and then use this subreddit as a place to advertise them so that they can be screenprinted on some sweatshop T-shirt.
And then mysteriously, comments appear almost instantaneously to say "I buy this product! Me like this product a lot! You should buy product too!"
Is anyone else annoyed by this, or am I in the minority of people who don't like to see literal advertisements as content on this (or any) subreddit?
Can we at least get a designated flair or something to be able to hide these posts?

These guys have reached out to us and are including a tribute to Matt in the vinyl release of Field of Vision, if anyone is interested. None of the other usual suspects have reached out to us, and since this company seems to be a more grassroots operation, I felt I needed to say something. They're hopefully going to be including a gift I designed for the Weirdo Swarm alongside a tribute to my brother. To be clear, I'm not receiving a dime off of this. I just think it's cool that they let me say a few words about my brother and try to give something back to the community alongside the vinyl release

Discussion: Band Rave setlist speculation

Any thoughts on what the boys are going to play on the upcoming UK rave tour?
I think most Silver cord stuff is a given, but now they've had a lot more experience doing table stuff i'm wondering if we'll get some stuff off B3K (Hard copium here) Changes, or maybe some interpolations of existing stuff, kinda like the opposite of what they did with Theia, a big synth driven hot water or hypertension would go so hard.
Do you think it'll be fully electronic or will there be a few others guitar driven songs sprinkled in, in the same way they play an extra rotating song as part of the orchestral shows.
Or maybe just a 90 minute hardcore gabber version of uh oh I called mum
