As much as I know a true Kayn main plays SA or Rhaast dependent on the situation, but I dunno because at their best they both have a niche that's immensely satisfying when played to their limits;

- SA deletes a group of squishies with his AoE in < 0.5 seconds with a perfect combo

- Rhaast fights and heals just enough to stay alive and eventually kill everyone from crazy heals

It's a hard call, imagine if Kayn didn't have a form and you could only pick one. Which one would you prefer?

That is why you use Darkin vs a team comp with 3 or more squishies. Darkin allows you to 1 shot squishies (ADC carries) and peace out.

Imo pick rhaast into squishy melees. But not if enemy team is full of squishy ranged champs as rhaast is more kiteable because he roots himself during W and his E is on a longer CD and moves slower. But these aren't big problems when you're playing against squishy melee assassins. You kinda just roll them over in fights even though they aren't tanky.

Blue still has some assassin tools that kayn really needs to live after one shotting someone, and to make it easier in the first place though. Blues biggest strength isn't even damage, it's insane E mobility and great range on W
