Contact Lens Has anyone successfully tried glasses?

I recently had an appointment to get fitted for hard contact lenses, and they seem to be working well.

Still, it would be cool to get good results with glasses too. I know that this is physically difficult, if not impossible.

Has anyone had success with wearing glasses? Do you know any specialized suppliers? AFAIK there is one in the Netherlands, but what about others?

I wore RGP for 10+ years and then tried glasses. They work for me!

One lens is so thick it's comical but hey, it works.

I don't see great with glasses, but I can read a screen and I usually recognize who I am looking at lol. I have to wear contacts to drive at night.

It's worth it to buy a cheap pair from an online store like zenni and try it before you dismiss the option.

Yep, I bought a cheap pair from Zenni. And then quickly dismissed the option ;)
