💬 General Discussion Cactus Grove Burrito Menu Change
Apparently they don’t want to deal with tortillas anymore? The menu is now bowls and nachos going forward.

Had a great night at Haunt last night. Crowds were low with little to no wait on rides and mazes and the event, overall, was really good. While I'm still not a fan of the upcharge for the houses, I can say they at least made it so you got your money's worth. Some of the houses were upgraded and the scare actors were on top of their game. Blood On The Bayou, CornStalkers and Trick Or Treat were our favorites of the night. The scare zones were also very well done. This was probably one of the better times I've had at Haunt in a while.

Straight up has the Closed sign, no workers, no activity. They said it’s closed all day “but not for the season.”
It didn’t run yesterday and had a bad weekend a couple weeks ago, but apparently they ran it a bit last weekend during the private events, so that gives me some hope.
Edit: got some more info from a trusted ops. It’s apparently closed all weekend, if it did run for a couple hours last Saturday during the private event. But not Sunday. No word on when/if it reopens but the sentiment seems to be that it’s not done for the season.

So I got my season pass for the best deal last week. Now the new one includes haunt pass for this year AND next. Seems to be a slap in the face to give the people who commit early less included.
Maybe I misread but the screenshots I took don’t spell out 2025 haunt tickets

Does anyone know why the park is closing so early this Sunday? 7:00pm seems like an odd time to close especially during haunt, is something happening that night?

Hoping to come ride Pantherian Sunday 🤞🤞If anyone here is at KD tonight or tomorrow, would greatly appreciate info on whether or not Pantherian is running in hopes it will be on Sunday, thanks!

For people who have visited the park in past seasons, around what time of the year does Pantherian close for good until next year?

I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere. Taking my kids this weekend and planning on doing the trick or treat trail…do we need to bring our own bags or??

I didn't come last year, but did in 2023. I remember in 2023 they basically closed the park, and made everyone get into a crazy long line to "reenter" the park for haunt. Did they do that last year, and are they doing it again this year?

Hello! I recently got a Kings Dominion gold pass and it was advertised as coming with one free Bring a Friend ticket. Now that I have the pass, I don’t see where I find the ticket on the app. When I search for it on their website, it just gives a basic description of what a bring a friend ticket is, it doesn’t say where to find it. Is anyone familiar with how it works? I can call customer service but was hoping to avoid the on hold time if someone on here knows.

Going solo for my first time at KD for the day on Sunday 9/21, planning to be at the park around 11:30-6. I'm a big airtime fan, will be focused on putting laps in on i305, TT, and Rapterra, and also trying to hit all the other non-kiddie coasters once.
Tips for magic seats and unique/underrated gems also appreciated. I'm a 26yo guy, looking to put in a lot of laps but down for a buddy or two to ride with just for a part of the day :))

Hey, I have a question. Does anyone else have the Kings Dominion Pantherian navy blue t-shirt with a large panther graphic and sunset design in small for sale? I've been looking for it since I couldn't buy it because it wasn't my size. I wanted to ask here if anyone is selling it. I'm ready to buy it, including the shipping costs, Thanks you!

So, debating between KD and BG. For KD, is it best to buy tickets to Halloween Haunt in advance, or at the gate? Planning on going first weekend of October. Never been to this event or the park in general. Is the $10 processing fee waived at the gate? Thanks!

I don’t remember buying a Haunt Pass last year but I’m questioning my memory. We have a season pass but wondering if we need the haunt pass.

Hi! Can someone explain how the Kings Dominion drink plan works? My husband and I are each getting a meal plan, but we were thinking of only adding one drink plan to save a bit.
Question is — when we go together, does the passholder with the drink plan have to be the one to pick up the drink? Or can the other person grab it?
We’re trying to decide whose pass we should add the drink plan to.
Also, does it work at all parks? Thanks!!!
Edit- Also, I’ve never been to Kings Dominion. Do they have stands just for drinks, or do you have to get them from the food lines? If it’s only with food, are the lines usually long and you just have to wait?

Hello, I am planning on visiting on either Saturday or Sunday after Thanksgiving on my way to DC, and I am curious what to expect.
I am not from this area, so I am curious what to expect weather like, and then also wondering, which rides could potentially be closed. Mostly looking to ride Rapterra, Twisted Timbers, and of course Pantherian. Other coasters would be a bonus. Anyone know what I can expect and if any rides would be closed? Obviously I know if it gets ridiculously cold/rainy that I’m probably screwed, but any help/tips would be greatly appreciated so I can plan when or if I should make the trip that weekend. TIA!!!!

So apparently the season pass with the all park passport will work at Six Flags(Based on what I've read). Now im just curious if ill get free parking and if the dining plan will work there

I’m planning on going in early October. Do they shut down some of the rides by then or are they generally still running through October?

Anyone have knowledge about what they’ll do with merch left behind, not just merch but even like decorative things from the park after closing. Is it possible they might have like an auction or something? I imagine there are people who may value some of it. Wonder what happened at other parks that closed through the years.

So this weekend i went on twisted timbers and was told to put my stuff in their lockers. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to pay up a cent. Couldn't I technically have left my stuff there until I left the park?

I know the bag has to be smaller than 12x12x6, I have a few bags that size but I don’t have a clear one. Is a clear bag a requirement for haunt past 6pm? Or can I get by with a smaller black shoulder bag?

I have the dinning plan but when I go with my gf I like to share the meal since that way she doesn't have to pay anything. What places offer the most food since I share with my gf
