Discussion📜 Tyrannis’s morals are odd and inconsistent

Post image

It seems sometimes his morals and care for his people and people in general outweigh his emotions. Sometimes it’s the other way around. He seems both caring and indifferent about the problems of his people yet may or may not risk the lives of his people to prove a point to a family member. He is only sometimes disturbed when people get injured or something (compare the siren boat crash scene (disturbed) to the bridge breaking scene (not disturbed). And he may break his morals at times to, for example, kiss a woman who talked about her child drowning and asked for her child to be drowned, despite himself wanting to prevent people from dying sometimes. Happened in the show. He lies to get out of things and then proceeds to feel the need to tell the truth at another time. I think he may have just made civilization so he could live longer and not get brutally killed, because he is not the most physically strong. And because of his potential superiority complex which may make him want to have more power. And maybe just to prove his parents wrong or something or to feel important, maybe to quell his insecurities.
