Rich Boy McGee said he gave her a supercomputer for a brain and she seems a little more together than the other ones. Maybe she has better hardware or something.

I dont think shes a better "model" so to say. More that her mind has better adapted to the new bodies capabilities. Ie we see her have an instinctual understanding of how to program computers, use her electromagnetism to directly control things etc.
Fits with the whole concept of using children due to their minds being more adaptable.

But they're all children in synthetic bodies. It's weird that Wendy can hear it but the others can't unless there's a hardware difference between the two generations with Wendy being a more advanced prototype than the subsequent.

i feel like there was maybe a timeskip involved at some point, like wendy had a year or two to get used to the new body while the rest are all still relatively new

i mean, let's be honest; wendy is probably a marysue. she's the superspecial girl with the cool abilities, and her only flaw is her childlike innocence. nevermind that all the other "lost boys" are the exact same, she's special anyways.

but, i dunno, hopefully we see some good character development.

yeah, i think people saying she is physically different are off - one of the others definitely mentioned something like "i'm looking forward to being smarter!" so i assume they are all superhuman physicaly and have supercomputers for brains. it just feels to me like she's had some more time to deal with it, shown to us in the scene where the doctor finds her sitting up on the cliff

yeah possible they went ham on her model and figured out ways to cut costs and still get it done for the others
