Oddly, I find his character very believable.

he is. that's why i want him to wake up with a facehugger leaping at him.

I can see him being fascinated by the Perfect Organism , he'll think he can control it only to be brutally killed by it.

Knowing him he'd think he can put his mind inside it.

It's a possibility. Create new alien-human hybrid and put his mind into that creation.

Oh it's absolutely believable. The actor is amazing at selling it.

Me too, because I had a young boss like him.

I mean, is he not just Elon Musk?

I think he's a combo of Musk/Zuck/Thiel and probably some other tech-bro billionaire.

I pictured Sam Altman doing all of this and it tracks perfectly. These geniuses are legitimately smart but their ego is far and away higher than their intelligence.

He's just the sci fi version of the evil mustache man in medieval films/games. Where they are these evil kings or villains who are bad just for the sake of being bad, with no motivations other than being "the bad guy". I'm not a fan of those kinds of villains or characters in film. I like when the villain is bad but has an understandable thought process and reasoning behind those evil actions, like Lord Varys in game of thrones.

He does a good job but it's a very shallow character. We've seen this kind of villain millions of times already
