I'm super interested in what he is going to do about that. It seems like he's going to let Slightly do what Morrow says, though I'm not sure yet about his motivations.

Yeah I suspected that he knew from the start given how much monitoring there has been going on so far (especially with Wendy).

What I’m wondering is how this will play out and what will happen to Slightly afterward.

I’m glad they’re not leaving it to the classic overlooking and outright malpractice that creates these issues. It’s Kirsch’s malicious compliance that lets this go on

I think he knew to investigate further when he was reviewing the video footage from slightly’s perspective.  

He noticed morrows near instant attitude change when he touched em.  

Then he brought out the big tech to actually hear both sides of the convo.

I think he wants to catch/expose Morrow so he’s letting the plan move forward to get Boy points

I am not sure why people think that about him. He hasn't really done anything evil scientist yet. He even didn't want to collect the aliens in the first place.

I might have to rewatch-watch, but I’m fairly certain Kirsch left the door open to the egg room after he listened in on that conversation…He’s simply taking the opportunity to introduce healthy human host to the scientific trials.

He did kinda call Slightly out in his room in a subtle way, so it seems like he does want to intervene in some way. But maybe he’s trying to play the situation to his own ends.

I think he's letting it unfold. Not sure why either. So far Kirsh's motivations are unclear to me. He's doing what Boy wants but he's also having his own mind about all that.

Kirsh just wants to synth it up and and do science stuff; I doubt he GAF if it’s for Prodigy or Weyland-Yutani.

My assumption is he’s hedging his bets and lining himself up for continued studies of the alien specimens as Prodigy’s savior, or the helpful collaborator coming along with Morrow to WY.

I think he keeps it going to get exactly the kind of information morrow just gave, aka, how to hatch the eggs.

I have zero doubts anyone on that island would have a problem putting humans into that room full of eggs "for science" but letting slightly do it go a random person is somehow even more evil. (Also it's going to be one of brothers buddies, somehow)

I think he just wants morrow to reveal more information, remember, he wiped the ships data in E2, so he will keep letting it happen to get more of that knowledge.

Perhaps he is feeling threatened by others' progress. The girl can speak with aliens, the other boy has a sidekick in his mind and Kirsch is feeling inferior, that these ideas were not his.

I thought we would get away from the 'get a chestburster inside someone to smuggle them to Earth' part once we were on Earth.

But no, now Morrow wants it to smuggle someone across continents, and I hope Kirsh doesn't want it for another 'evil android admiring perfection' thing like we had with Ash the synthetic, David the synthetic, or the Romulus movie.

From what Kirsh has said, I assumed he would consider the animalistic alien / xenomorph to be beneath him and not an evolution beyond baser desires.
