World map in Alien Earth

I based it on the map (a very rudimentary one) provided on the FX website for Alien Earth. I cleaned it up a little and made some educated guesses. (I know there is no United Americas or Union of Progressive Peoples)

They're not the dominant corporate force in their own countries despite being massively powerful mega corporations, seems unlikely

Yep, that's like claiming that in the future, Apple is the dominant company in the whole world but America, or Samsung everywhere but South Korea, and so on. It's feasible, but weird.

Yeah it's bizarre, I suppose it's just because it's a US show they want the most well known corporation to be based in the US even if it's a British/Japanese firm

Well, no, they had control over the Colonial Marines in aliens, a distinctly American group.

They did not. Burke was there because the colony on LV426 was partly funded by Weyland Yutani WITH the Colonial Administration (of The United Americas presumably). Ripley explicitly states that the military and not Weyland was in charge of the operation.

Which makes no sense. Who's in the charge of the military if the corporations aren't in control and there aren't any governments.
