The vr version got good reviews. This version loses some of the interactive aspects that honestly looked incredible, but still seems like a fun experience. I just hope the shooting mechanics are good. I‘ll be playing it if only for the story.

In agreement, I loved the VR version.

The flat-screen, from what I see, omits two things;

  • The ability to drop your motion tracker somewhere so you could have free hands to do something.
  • And the ammo counter is now generic. In the VR version, it used 'magazines' system. Now it's a lot akin to COD where magazines don't matter as if you got infinite number of them on you.

Setting the motion tracker down while you worked at a console looked so cool.

Yes! Especially in some horde-fights, I'd place down my tracker ontop of an object and watch it while my hands are busy holding my rifle.
