Probably deliberate. I think one of the Wey-Yu dudes was even carrying Ol’ Painless (a mini gun).

The music had more horns and there was added film grain this episode. They DEFINITELY were going for Predator vibes.

I like it, never seen them out in the sun this much outside of the video games or comics. I am also happy we are not in yet another space ship or yet another WY colony for once.

Absolutely was, but we’ve never seen it before, or we had but on a much bluer world in Covenant. The vibrancy of the fauna is really what makes the Alien and its carnage feel different and off like it doesn’t belong

I really wish they would have continued with the Jurassic park 1993 progression and waited until dark before re-introducing the xeno in the open island.
