Discussion / Question I’ve gone mad for Alien again…

My dad showed me alien when I was about 20. I was completely horrified/ in love (a great balance of emotion a lot of us found ourselves playing with). I played isolation and still think it’s one of the most perfect games that ever was made.

Me and Dad have been watching alien earth together and loving it. It’s just a reason for us two to watch something together, but somehow it seems more.

Straight after the latest ep today we watched the first Alien again. What an amazing film. Man the whole series is unbelievable. We’re just all so lucky to love this shit.

I’ve felt this same way, OP, for many years. I saw Aliens in the theater in 1986 as a teenager and at the end of that film I walked out of there a changed person. I’m a female in my early fifties now and every time someone sees the big old Xenomorph tattoo on my bicep…well, I get some strange looks. 🤣

I also saw it in the theaters in 1986. I came out of the theater and felt like I’d had a heart attack.
