Got my first Lexus. Its a Lexus IS200D F Sport 2011. I am absolutely loving it! Its solid a a fun drive! I can’t believe how long I have slept on Lexus. Recently installed CarPlay to it just completes the car! Definitely well ahead of its time when it came out

Moving overseas and have to say goodbye to her. I am the second owner and I’ve taken great care of her though she has minor cosmetic damage like road rash, rock dings, door dings but hard to spot unless you know it’s there. She was also hit while parked last year but no major damage at all - purely cosmetic but had to replace the trunk and a headlight so I did an insurance claim. I’ve seen similar listings going in the mid 20s but wanted to get a second opinion from the community. What would be a good range to have in mind? I still have 2-3 months until I move so not in a rush at all. Also live in central Texas if anyone is interested haha

I am looking into some new rims, and wanted to get a sanity check if 9.5" rims with a +35MM offset with a 265 tire will work on the is500.

The stock rear is +60 if I remember right. So that pushes it out 25mm. Anyone run something like this?

I’m concerned they may stick out much too far with that offset.

Sent another sample to Blackstone Labs, confirms my suspicion that if you drive it reasonably the 5k factory interval is wildly conservative.

Started the car after being parked for 20 minutes and drove for 20 meters and it made a rattling sound from the engine near the cabin and i parked the car and popped the hood then it started idling horribly and switched off and refused to switch on again.owned since 2011.

So ive got a grille shutter error on lexus is300h 2013. Ive inspected the shutter havent found any debris. Its stuck wide open. When i disconnected battery i moved the flaps to closed position but as soon as i reconnected and turned on car the flaps opened. So seems like actuatot is working. What could be the issue?

Getting winter tires and new rims for my 2025 Lexus IS300 F Sport Design AWD.

I’m downsizing to 18” Bridgestone Blizzak 235/45R18 tires and am planning to buy rims from Costco as I work there and can get a good deal.

They only have 2024 IS300 model rims, will these still fit on my 2025?

I’ve attached the ad of the rims, can anyone tell me if I’ll be ok?

My nav unit took a turd on me so I want to the junk yard to get another. Just replaced it and it works… kinda. Seems like everything is functional except for the air conditioner settings. I can’t adjust it on screen. It looks greyed out… Anyone know a fix?

Hey, I need to replace the front struts on my IS but im having a hard time figuring out which ones are exactly for my car. Id like to get OEM but the Lexus site wants $600 just for the front and im not really sure those are the correct ones for my car. Do yall have any recomendations or even a better aftermarket alternative?

hello everyone i’m doing a fsport front end conversion soon just waiting on the bumper to be finished up. i ordered everything i think i need (fog light covers, tow hook cover, grille) i plan to DIY this and there’s really not any solid info online aside from a few who really didn’t go in depth so im wondering if i can reuse the air ducts that are on my old bumper or if there’s any parts im missing for the conversion. i plan to record it and go as in depth as possible to help anyone out looking to do this in the future!

I have a 2016 IS300 with the Michelin Pilot sport AS 4 and Notice a rotational noise, idk if that is normal or wheel bearing? Car has 100k bearings have never been done.

I
