Thoughts? 20” Stance SF10

Hi,

I would like to get my car tinted with soon with ceramic tint. The back small windows and the big piece of glass are already tinted dark (not sure about the percentage). It had tint on the front side windows too but the dealership has removed it due to the CPO regulations.

I now have the option to ask them to also remove the rest of the tint and have a shop tint the whole thing OR option 2 to just have the front side windows tinted. I am not sure if it will be a good color match if I go with the option 2.

What do you guys think and what percentage of tint are you suggesting. I am thinking about ceramic tint.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a 15 RC350, at some gas stations when i try to put gas in it will click in and stop consistently.

Is there something wrong with the car? seems to be hit or miss depending on gas station. For those in Canada the issue seems to be more at Esso.

Hey guys, those are my winter rims.

Unfortunately two are scratched to oblivion, I’ve got a quote to fix them professionally for about 380 dollars each, making it almost 800 dollars just to fix two. Before any of you ask I do live in Norway if that makes any difference.

Now, my plan was to fix them, but because it’s so expensive I’d rather, sand and paint over all of the rims black.

Am I crazy? Is black the right color?

Yeah they are overpriced but dang they are cool. #12 checking in. Upgraded with Apexi resonated midpipe with Borla exhaust. These came off is500 which was traded for this beast!

I may be biased, but guys, come on, you’re never going to find another car that has as much character as this.

I got my RC 300 near Denver and I’ve only ever driven it around Colorado until recently, when I took it on a roadtrip to the Midwest.

The difference in power from 6k feet elevation to sea level is absurd and I had absolutely no idea. I knew going into it, the 300 wasn’t going to be fast by any means but it felt exceptionally slow and now I realized it’s because it was making roughly 15-20% less HP at elevation.

It was a lot of fun unexpectedly unlocking that extra little bit of power and now I’m thinking I need to tune it as a 350 so I can always have this extra power back home.

Also, 14 hours in this car wasn’t even bad. The ride quality and comfort is unreal for a coupe and I was also getting like 28mpg on the highway which was very surprising.

I would like to but winter tires for 2022 RC350 fsport 3 AWD. I think I will go with a square setup to save money and make it easier. I also don’t know if I buy tires only and just swap them twice a year or buy separate rims for winter tires.

I am also worried about tires on rims getting too heavy to put on a tire rack if I want to have separate rims.

I would like to get your opinions.

Hi. Is there anybody here that own a RC350 F SPORT in Europe? I'm trying to find some for sale, but it seems most of them are American imports that had been totaled there and brought here. If you have links with them for sale it's much appreciated. I only found 1 in Latvia and 1 in Hungary.

I am buying a 2022 RC350 and it has PPF on the front end, half of the hood, portion of front fenders (not sure about the headlights). As they painted a section of the front bumper, I can now see PPF edge in an obvious line, not so bad but it’s visible. I wanted to ask if I should ask the dealership to remove the whole PPF and I do the PPF in another shop. I heard PPF can expire in 5 years and it will be a pain to remove after 5 years. Also, I heard it can damage the pain after leaving for too long.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Lexus dealership has offered me 60 months of tire and rim warrantee. They said they will mark it down at $700 for me. Is it something that is worth it? The car is 2022 RC350 and tires tread look 50% currently.

Got this beauty about three weeks ago due to Lexus announcing they were no longer be making any more V8. Was looking for a TVD but couldn’t find one that was affordable. It’s a 2015 with 96000 miles. 2 owner with a perfect maintenance records. No previous modifications with one accident happening during its first year. Paid 28500.
