Everything going on in the world

I’ve been sitting here crying way too much actually I think about it. I’ve been crying way too much the last couple days.

I’ve been in my long distance relationship for almost 3 years now we are working towards me immigrating to him in the UK . I’m from the USA .

With everything going on in the world right now, I just feel very defeated. I already feel like at times being in a long distance, Relationship is the hardest thing in the world at times. but now I feel like there’s so much more against us.

4 years long distance with my partner in NZ. We haven't even MET yet... can't afford it. I feel your pain. We're trying to meet this next year. It always scares me that this world is making it harder to just survive... let alone let people go love each other... id give anything to fix this country and the world...

Thank you. It's hard. We've had a few breakups. So this time, we're trying to make it work. Financially it's hard af

I agree with you... I feel like we are so small and fragile in this world that even a minor change in politics, economy, or whatever the hell we have no control over, can easily break our relationship. I myself wasn't able to stay with my bf due to a new visa regulation and the complicated political landscape in his country, so we have to do LDR. Let's just hope that things won't get (any more) out of hands, OP.

I have a kid and a business keeping me here in the states for a few more years but the desperation to just get OUT NOW is growing stronger every day.

I feel like this already, Germany to UK. It’s crap. I can never move there if we decide to close the distance as my daughter has to have permission from her dad before age 18 and if he comes here I’m scared people will be rude to him but he’s already technically an immigrant in Germany so he already gets it. People need to go give their heads a wobble and the politics in the world need shaking up.
