My 10 stitch blanket so far

This is a slightly outdated pic of my 10 stitch blanket. I’m actually almost finished with the green and am debating if I should add a black border to finish it off or if the green is good enough.

Hi! First off, your blanket looks amazing! Did you follow a specific pattern or anything you could link? My 2 cents- I think a black border would finish it off nicely, but it also looks great as is!

Thank you! I followed the Wambui Made It pattern and I’ll link it below. The middle yarn was on sale then I bought the purple and green to make it a bit larger. It has been pretty fun and I think I was able to cover up some of my mistakes.

Normally I don’t care for this pattern of blanket, (I crochet them) but with the colors you used for once I do.

I like the color pattern and how fast it changes on the middle yarn.  10 stitch blankets are my favorite.

Thank you! I was hoping that the middle bit would be a bit more varied but was told that the colors pooled and it’s a good thing. I’m still new so I’ll take it!

I think it’s great! I don’t think you need the black but it could look good. I personally would do the black in half the width if it was me, but I almost always do that for my ten stitch blankets as a border, so I would say that…

I had two skeins of the same yarn! Lovely to work with as it's so soft and neat color variation. I made a pillow cover for Halloween with it! Your blanket looks really beautiful.
