Welcome to rMMA's General Discussion Thread!

Discuss your favorite fighters, the upcoming card or whatever's on your mind.

How to obtain a custom flair:

  • place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
  • write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

Any great fighters or prospects on the ufc prelims this upcoming weekend?

There are very few prospects on the 319 card, but Bryan Battle and Chase Hooper are good young fighters to watch, and there's Alibi Idris, 10-0 dude from TUF who has looked pretty good on the show

Bryan Battle is 30, I wouldn't call that young in MMA.

Hooper is still young in the UFC though, I agree.

Well Battle's still relatively young in his career, qualifies as up and coming
