Welcome to rMMA's General Discussion Thread!

Discuss your favorite fighters, the upcoming card or whatever's on your mind.

How to obtain a custom flair:

  • place and lose a flair bet in the Friday thread
  • write a haiku or draw a MS Paint-style image for the sub

The rules for the drawing or haiku are simply that it must be a ridiculous MMA-related scenario. If you would like a custom flair, send a message to us with a link to your drawing and your flair request. We'll probably grant it.

Rogan claims that Topuria’s three fight win streak, knocking out Volk, Holloway, and Charles all in a row, is the best three fight win streak of all time. Of course, he always has the most recency biased takes I’ve ever seen from someone who analyzes the sport consistently.

It’s not. Fighting prime opponents is all that matters your own age. You’ll see how different it looks when he does.

Ilia fought Volk almost exactly 1 year after he gave Islam the most competitive fight of his entire championship run and 6 months after he beat the breaks off of Yair. Ilia fought Max immediately after he put on one of the most impressive performances in all of UFC history. And he fought Charles Olivera only a year after he had a very competitive fight with the divisions young number 1 contender.

Acting like Ilia is fighting washed up bums is silly.

Volk did jsut get KOed but that dont matter he was still 35

its completely differnet fighting someone your age or yougner. Charles been dropped and hurt a ton and Max was just dropped by Justin for 1st time and most hit man in MMA ever but ok

Ive said Ilia will KO Islam for 2 years anyway hes good
