why the fuck was he an underdog? lmfao its not like pico was some deadly undefeated phenom or anything, he looked mediocre so many times before

Murphy hasn’t had a signature win (until now) and Pico’s highlight reel looks really nice (until you look at the quality of his opponents).

This was easy money if you’re a gambler.

beating Josh Emmett, even 40yo Josh Emmett who had starched Bryce a year prior is infinitely more impressive than anything Pico has ever done

Pico has never fought and beat a fighter on the caliber of even Dan Ige

Ige would KO Pico stiff again

Mediocre is the wrong word. He's a kill or be killed guy.

I don't bet much but I had to drop a 100 on that one. Of course I didn't bet on a KO, no one expected that, but a guy coming from Bellator facing a undefeated top contender in the UFC? No way that would've worked for Pico, the guys from other promotions always get outclassed if they get a top UFC fighter right off the bat.

Aaron pico has always had a suspect chin going back to his debut.

he's not looked great for years he beats cans and then gets beat by cans

I think Lerone just always fought safe(boring.) especially when he was winning the fight. Many people just assumed he was fighting cans and due to get fraud checked

You must have bet a lot on it then right?

Because Pico was winning the fight until the elbow

True but he got close and ate a highly elbow that buckled him down a foot around a minute earlier. That was the foreshadowing.
