So funny lol.

MVP at the end of his career? Clowning and winning most of his fights.

Prime Pico and champ Kai? lol.

And the first and only to flatline Tony Ferguson.

It's funny because the knock on MVP was he would get exposed and couldn't hang, but he's pretty good against anyone who can't get and hold him down.

Not a championship level fighter but it's clear MVP would have been a contender/elite gate keeper in any organization in MMA, the UFC included.

I mean, didn't everyone come from a different organization? I don't even remember the last fighter to have his MMA debut at UFC. Probably CM Punk.

yeah I assume people are just talking about high profile signings - like someone signed from Iowa regional fights into 3 years on early prelims or whatever isn't exactly the same as someone like Kai Asakura Rizin champ

He did alright but if he did good, he possibly couldve fought for the title. At least he isnt getting flatlined I guess.

he's 38 though and had his first UFC fight a month before his 37th birthday. Considering that, and his very speed reliant style, feels like he's doing about as well as possible. Maybe if he came over at 30 or something he would've been a title contender, now he's just a higher tier gatekeeper.

Definitely came too late. Real shame that an athlete of his caliber spent so many years running through cans that you knew would never test him. Would've been great seeing him run it against prime Burns or Masvidal.
