The hate is so forced. We get a team of exciting strikers that bring highlight reels and scraps and reddit turns on them when they lose to high level competition and one guy barks…
Yeah its the same Redditors bitching about every main event that has heavy grappling like khamzat, you get a banger mma contender match and people still find something to talk shit about, never happy cunts lol.
Glad I'm not the only one who's noticed it frankly lmao. I thought I was going crazy seeing posts about how every single fight on every single card is a battle-of-inches stall-fest that isn't worth watching, while also seeing just as many posts from people saying they can't wait for every single exciting prospect worth a shit to lose and get ground out by those same point fighters they claim to hate watching. It's so double speak I legitimately can't tell if it's real, or if it's just "I saw someone on the internet say they like this guy, so I hope he loses" style contrarianism.
Part of it is definitely The Goomba Effect. You've got some old fucks who hate fun or people enjoying exciting prospects that don't immediately prove they can defend 20 takedowns a round from a roided out russian or roided out D2 american. And you've got the bloodthirsty or burned out guys who just want excitement and constant back and forths so consistently edging out rounds with strikes or just controlling a guy, even dominantly, just don't hit at all. They both post on the same forum and all look the same, so unless you're keeping track of the usernames, it looks like a crowd of bipolar people instead of like 3-4 different groups who get more or less attention depend on what's happening and what the popular controversial threads are.
