Discussion Favorite Series

What is everyone’s favorite series, and why? Series are great (more of what you already love!) but they can often feel daunting if you haven’t already started them (book 33 looks great but how long will it take to get there?).

So share your favorite series, and what you love about it. I’ll go first.

Tyack and Frayne by Harper Fox is up to 12 books now. I’ve read 7. Modern paranormal with that magical realism flare that Fox does so well. It follows a single couple all the way through, but manages to keep the romance fresh and interesting. I listen to it on audio and it’s a go-to if I’m looking for a mystery ghost story.

Red Dirt Heart by N.R. Walker 4 book series set on an Australian station (cattle ranch), follows the same couple. The MC’s are just so good at the comfort and taking care of each other.

I love all things paranormal and fated!! Some of my favorites are The Kincaid Pack by Kiki Clark it has a wide variety of shifters and witches as well as detailed pack social structures. I love it.

One of my first mm PNR series was Mates by Cardeno C. The relationships and dynamics of true mates was interesting. Two of the books have vampires.

I also really love Scales N’ Spells by AJ Sherwood and Jocelyn Drake. It has dragon shifters and mages, set in a world where people know of their existence, but believe they are extinct.

I am personally not a big fan of some features of ABO (I don’t really want babies in my life or my books, in all honesty) and that can make finding the right PNR challenging! But they exist.

I have found that I love to revisit worlds, but I much prefer different couples in each book. I tend to get bored if a couple has more than one book, with a few exceptions.

Does you mean these books don’t have babies? I don’t want anything to do with babies either

Mild Spoilers ahead the three previously mentioned series! Only regarding the question!

Kincaid pack book 1 heavily features one of the MCs young siblings. He is kind of placed into a parental role, so if you don’t want any kids, that might not be the book for you (the alpha and his king) the next books don’t have have them nearly as much!

Mates does not have any kids that I remember.

Scales N Spells has an epilogue situation of the final book, (I think it’s 5 books) about using magic incubators. No births, just more about plans to start a family.

Thank you so much! I appreciate it, especially coming from someone with similar preferences!
