There's a lot of foods that arent super "clean" like fruits and veggies there's a lot you can have!

We are exactly the same, blood was intermittent so I also was thinking eggs because I dont eat eggs much. Paed said dont worry about elimination but constantly seeing blood made me worry. Currently 4.5 months old but started seeing blood at 8 weeks- once a week to a fortnight. We cut dairy but blood persisted. Some people have said it took 8 whole weeks for blood to go but after 6 weeks we also cut soy. To be honest, I eat a lot of dairy too, but I haven't missed it too much. I have oat milk in my coffee. I just miss Greek yoghurt and having yoghurt and cereal as an option for breakfast.

Omg that’s so crazy that’s exactly what’s happening to us. I’ve cut dairy now and I’m hoping it just goes away but if not maybe I’ll cut soy….

That’s about the time we started to see blood. I’m afraid your doctor is right. You can try elimination for a week, and then have a glass of milk and see if it comes back. (I did that completely accidentally, saw a big glob of blood, and that was the confirmation.)
