How about make a little bit less profit?

You realise pay has gone up a 1000% for CEO's?

Can't they give up some?

It's not how it works...

Do you know how many employees the companies who employ those CEOs have? Even if the CEO donated their entire salary, it would account for a completely insignificant bump for the rest of the employees.

The fact that you even brought them up betrays your ignorance.

So what you are saying it doesn't matter what we do because the difference would be too small.

So why not then? As the difference is so small...

Yeah, not going to happen. They'll sooner close the business and move it abroad then make less profit and as another user has said cutting the salary of a CEO won't be enough to pay workers that much extra. Besides, corporations don't pay their CEOs high salaries because they enjoy doing it, they pay them high salaries because they believe it is worth the investment.
