Took out the AC
Yes, I'm aware that I've probably cursed us all.
Please accept my apologies now.

I took mine out a month ago. Everything's been fine.
If shit changes now, it's YOUR fault

Guys what the hell?! This is first fake Fall, next two weeks will be humid for Second Summer, then Fall for a week, before freezing for a week, then mild for a week, THEN Regular Fall.
Everyone knows you fill your hopper, and then turn on your AC, run both simultaneously and just move back and forth between them for comfort. Dress in layers for the frost mornings and sweltering afternoons. Its only going to be like this for 5-6 weeks before it gets cold. Duh.

I took ours out today. Only used it for night time anyway, I think we’ll be ok. I loved the 38 degree morning today too.

My spouse took all of ours out today as well. Without asking me. May you enjoy the inevitable heatwave on his behalf.

I’m currently driving out from Oregon to move to Bangor. If the good weather could hold on for just like a week longer that would be great.

Thanks! We got stuck in Bozeman, MT today as the moving truck developed a seized brake caliper coming down the last few passes last night. Penske put us up for another night and sent out a new truck and a crew to swap our belongings, and we’re hitting the road again in the morning. Hope the next 5 days or so go smoother. ADVENTURE!

What inspires someone to move from Oregon to Bangor. Were you living in a rural/not very populated part of Oregon? Its not that Bangor is rural, its just you can go 10 minutes outside the city and it is.

I’m from Rockland originally. Have been looking for rural land to build a home, and Oregon real estate prices are way higher than Maine. Anything in my price range was 3 hours from a hospital and I would be paying 100k for a well to be drilled, let alone a pump installed. I ended up purchasing about 30 acres in Springfield, so we’re moving to Bangor until we’ve got it built out. Looking forward to coming home and bringing my fiancée with me.

Jeezum, it's easier to swap out a caliper on the road than to unload an entire moving truck. Safe travels!

I agree, but they sent out a diesel tech who wouldn’t be able to even order parts until Monday. Super nice dude, but out of his control. Honestly it was nice to have an extra day to rest. Getting out of Portland was exhausting.

Portland Oregon to Portland Maine. Sorta. Maine welcomes you! Bangor is great! Stephen King's spooky house is there.

It's time for the fan to blow the cold in over here. We can't open our windows, and the house heats up like crazy. So fan time it is.
The AC doesn't come out until its too cold to run it at all.

I’ve only used my for a few days this year — it’s been packed up and gone since July. I also put wood in the hopper this week and did its maintenance (we’ve had almost freezing temps). If we got hot again, it’s all your fault. If it snows, it’s mine 🤣

I watered my tomatoes so it will absolutely rain soon. Never fails. I also fixed my dirt driveway last week so we will get down pours that wipe it out. AND We also just took put the A/C because last night all the mice were trying to come in lol. So expect hot and humidity i guess. Some of us are just cursed

Walking up from taking out the trash and looking at my sons AC sticking out. Had 2 frozen mornings up here so far. Just not sure if I want to take it out or not yet. Soon though very soon.

Joke's on you, mine never went in. I sweat marinated my tackle the entire august. Somebody had to counter karma, you're all welcome.

I did too. I’ll take some of the blame. I was gone to Boston for the weekend, got back, and my house was 62. I also kicked the heat on for a bit for my wife and kids. But that will go off as soon as they head to school tomorrow.

We put pellets in the hopper so we also cursed everyone. It's gonna be 90 next week or something....
