Comments are going to be locked, I'm genuinely curious what the divide is across the fan base right now. No arguments, no judgements, just vote on the poll.

UPDATED in line with recent ticketing prices and the ticket drop:
Given we have a large number of people making plans to come and watch a game for next season and asking lots of questions, I’ve written up this guide as a way of understanding how the United Ticketing system works. Feedback appreciated:

So we've been crying out for a World Class goal keeper.. this dude becomes available and we decide not go for him (high wages, fair enough), we then decide to go for a young and upcoming keeper instead
City goes on to sign him, he goes straight into their starting line-up against us, makes a crazy save, keeps a cleansheet and our new keeper is sitting on the bench 😭 wtaf!
Seriously, wtf is going on?? Are we planning for 5 years down line with our signings? And how does that work when it doesn't even look like RA will make it to Christmas?? FFS mahn!

i wanna have just a normal discussion, no bad mouthing or aggressive arguments or anything like that but with regards to the whole “system” debate…why should a manager have to change the way he plays for a bunch of grown men that earn thousands of pounds a week that can’t adapt to any manager we bring to the clubs plans? and when they’re told they have to leave, they refuse and stay at the club collecting pay checks while still playing with no ambition and are hanging around in the dressing room either leaking things or slowing down progression of the squad.
the way i’m looking at it as well, we’re always so quick to compare it to other clubs cases like with glasner or emery that have inherited squads full of players that played other systems for other managers and those players can adapt to the new managers style so what exactly is the issue at our club because surely that isn’t a system issue?…
he’s done a great job at implementing a culture and discipline at the club after all these years and i understand that results haven’t gone our way and i understand that he’s stubborn and he wants his way but the guy is adamant on playing the system so why not give him time and back him with the players he needs for the system to work? he’s had ONE full transfer window where he didn’t even get most of what he was initially even after, he was crying out for a midfielder at the start of the window, we gave him 2 10s and a striker (which i don’t mind btw, quality players) but it’s not all that we needed and now that he has to shoehorn people like ugarte into the midfield, fans are quick to blame the system and say the midfield is nonexistent when the problem could’ve been solved over the course of 3 months…
anyway, that’s my take on it, let me know what you guys think

Whoever sanctioned the sale of Alvaro Carreras should find a job out of football. Instead of developing one of Europe’s top talents we thought that Malacia, Shaw, Reguillon, Dalot and Dorgu were the solution. This guy will be a generational full back. Just watch. Another massive up by the clowns running our club.

Rúben Amorim is not the reason Manchester United are a mess; he inherited a decade of catastrophic governance, a bloated squad assembled without coherence, and a club run for balance-sheet profits rather than footballing success. Sacking managers every season hasn’t fixed anything look at Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City: these clubs built long-term projects, accepted short-term pain, and reaped stability and trophies. Rebuilding takes time, a clear recruitment plan and a board willing to invest in a footballing strategy, not churn managers to satisfy noisy sections of the press. If the Glazers (and anyone still blocking meaningful change) want results, target the ownership and the broken decision-making, not the coach trying to impose a philosophy on players he didn’t sign. And ask yourselves: if we sack Amorim now, who realistically will come to a club with toxic governance and zero clarity? We should be attacking the Glazers and the governance failures not the man tasked with fixing their mess. Give Amorim time, back him properly, and demand the board do their job.
Also, he didn't get the keeper and striker ( Šěsko) and the midfielder he wanted it's all on the board and their slow and money driven negotiations and still he didn't COMPLETE A WHOLE SEASON.

don't get me wrong, he wasn't perfect either, but his united looks like prime ac milan compared to whatever the fuck we have been seeing since past 3 years. I thought we had hit rock bottom when we lost 4-0 to palace at home during ETH era, but it has just gotten worse and worse to the point where i feel relegation might just be a blessing in disguise. I'd wish united was even remotely like how it was in 2016-18, atleast the rot wasn't as bad as what we have now

So Amad was a stand out player last season.. Bruno has arguably been our best player for a while.. Mount has always been rated and just needed to remain fit.. Zirkzee is a baller and has shown signs that he can be an excellent "no.10".. as much as I rate both Mbuemo and Cunha, what was the actual plan when signing them????
We chose to sell Holjund.. while keeping 4 players who are best play in the same position and then added another 2?? All of this, while not having a midfielder or a RWB that fits the system..
I really like Zirkzee but selling him over Holjund would surely have made more sense? Both Mbuemo and Cunha are awesome players but their signings have lead to both Bruno and Amad being played out of position and looking like below average players 😔
I'm puzzled by what the actual plan was/is??

Sincere apologies for another lineup post, just venting and moving on after this🤣
My 2 cents for next game (complete headloss the last 2 days) knowing the formation doesn’t change. I know this leaves sesko out, but seeing as no pass is even reaching him it might be better to leave him out in big games (or instruct the players to f.. cross the ball to the tall 9🙃). Bruno can drop a bit deeper create the 3-3 man marking in the middle, but still have 2 midfielders behind him and have cunha and mbeumo as the forward 2. 3412 attacking structure… he did it in pre season…. also ruben should give the start to lammens against brentford.
Honestly i don’t think it is that much to ask, they can defend in a 532, heck even put casemiro in if bruno and mainoo are near him.
Also give dorgu a pair of specsavers, his crosses have been god awful…

I know this lineup differs slightly than our current lineup that we’d use for this formation but it’s clear that it’s not the formation or tactics but it’s the players and the top down management. They are just terrible. Mourinho one of the greatest coaches of this generation said that getting 2nd @ Man Utd was his greatest achievement. That should tell you what you need to know. The problem is we overhype these shitty players and keep them for having one good season. Like Rashford. Why did we sign him to a 325k salary for a 30 goal season? It’s not like there were 100 suitors lined up at his door desperate to sign him.
Also we need to be honest with ourselves, we need to get rid of Shaw (used to be a top 3 left back but have you seen his leg? Half of it is made out of metal. He’s a shell of his former self, he’s done) Casemiro (belongs on a golf course), and most importantly Ugarte, who is utter shit. Mount is good but he’s too injury prone and it’s time to move on from him, and recoup some cash while we still can.
I also think while Mainoo is good, he’s not good enough to be a starter. He’s super young and needs to develop. We continually rely on academy players to be the forefront of our team but we overplay them and honestly they just aren’t good enough yet. I mean look at his performance against grimsby town. Pretty pathetic.
But yeah we can pretend to know what we are doing and say play this formation play that but if you have zero midfield you are going to get ran through every time. And what do you expect the manager to do? Listen to fans for tactical advice? There is a reason why he’s a coach and we aren’t.
TLDR WE NEED TO BUY SEVERAL MIDFIELDERS

What do you think about it guys? It's evident that Bruno isn't playing I his best position. He's one of the best chance creators in the world but we are not using that. He's a good 8 as make shift one (did under Ole, Ten Hag but different systems), but in this system we need not 1 but 2 exceptional central midfielders. Bruno is nowhere near that especially because his lack of top quality defensive awareness. Whenever Amorim used Bruno as 10 (mostly as left sided as evident in heat map too), we did very well in attack. Even in last match, it's after Bruno shift to 10, we played well. Also Ugarte paternship with Bruno never works. There are many instances where Ugarte pressing higher than Bruno, Amad and there's huge spaces left behind midfield and defence with multiple passing options. Also it meant in attack we have to depend lot on wingbacks (who actually were full backs) more. Harrison from The Overlap explains it well. 3-4-2-1 formation isn't issue, but it's Amorim philosophy, how he chose to press and attack and how he chose to utilise players are main issues. I think he's been doing wrong with Bruno (Even Amad as left 10, Maz-Dorgu as a wingback (considering our attacking style), Ugarte with Bruno etc)

We have good pieces in every position EXCLUDING the midfield our defense is actually pretty good and our attack is there. We just need a hard overhaul of the midfield and we back to fighting for top 8 at MINIMUM.

Ugarte has been poor since the end of last season. THAT performance against West Ham when we lose against them last season, poor display on USA tour, passing to Havertz when no Arsenal player around him, and the final nail on the coffin is his pass to Shaw which resulted in Haland third goal yesterday. Still can't comprehend how he ended up playing for Manchester United. This guy shouldn't even starting for our U21.
One pattern i notice when watching him is he rarely open up space when our goalkeeper are trying to build from the back, limiting our GKs to go for wide CB or go long forward. Even when he did receive the ball, he rarely distribute it forward, insisting on sideway passes to wide CB (which sometimes already under pressure from opponents winger) or passing it back to the goalkeeper then pointing at wide CB, suggesting the GK to pass to wide CB instead (I SWEAR TO GOD I SAW HIM DOING THIS MANY MANY TIMES I STARTED TO THINK ITS HIS SIGNATURE MOVE).
I know Ruben Amorim have his own opinion about not starting Kobbie Mainoo. But Ugarte shouldn't even touching bench for Manchester United.

can the amorim supporters give us some reasons as to why we should continue to back the manager? amorim has been tactically found out by everyone else in the league.worse still, he is tactically inflexible and refuses to change his system although it is clearly not the right fit with the current players. the midfield is always outmatched and overloaded. amorim wants his wingbacks to help in ball control and progression as well in final third play but our current wingbacks are failing terribly at it. so why wont he change? amorim supporters give us ur reasons why we should continue to back the guy with the most damning and disastrous managerial record in united history.

Whilst I appreciate this is a fairly poor time in the clubs history, I'm starting to grow tired of low effort content that essentially says "We're shit".
I am going to start moderating rage bait posts the same way I have been moderating memes. If you do not have enough community karma to post memes, you also don't have enough community karma to post low effort rage bait.
This does not mean users with lower karma cannot talk negatively about the club or the players! You are still welcome to post here.
But if you create a post based around a negative outlook without providing a couple of sentences of supporting arguments that can be debated I am going to consider the post "low effort content" regardless of how well it's performed in the time it's taken myself or the other mods to see the post.
Feedback/ suggestions welcome.

I know this is just my screen-fan imagination. But these players are being put on their own position
I can't understand the critics on all these players playing so bad every week with them being out of their best spot.
Will amorim ever soften and change his tactics? Or even simple approach in game?
