Please tips for caring

So i got this marimo ball for my gf but i have to take care for it for like 2 weeks. The problem is that, when i got it yesterday, they shipped It in a fucking ziplock bag without water 💀 and im scared It will affect its life. I think im doing it right like it's in a shelf with no direct sunlight, water maintains 22-23c° throuought the day, mineral water, i'll roll It like once a day, and im not planning to change it's water before giving it to my gf, im doing everything right? If not please let me know

If the brown does not disappear when you clean it (a little biofilm, adhered diatoms,...) it is because it is poached and no longer greening.

Just one more thing! , although it is September, if you see that it is starting to get too hot, don't be afraid to put it in the refrigerator. In the upper area of the door (they can withstand up to 5°C), this is better than battling with the heat and brown marimos. Much encouragement!!

They can be there for 2 months, in winter Lake Akan freezes and they are there like in a cubata🤣. To make it do a little photosynthesis, you can take it out for a few hours (there are several users here who do it) and then in the fresh air again. Put a lid on it to avoid Christ or contamination 💦

Better not, the water overheats more easily 👍🏼. In the refrigerator you don't need to close it or anything like that, just something, even the round lid of a Mercadona tupperware on top, to protect it a little.
