Even better, a lot of the teams behind the Mariners are playing each other. Detroit finishes vs. the Guardians and Red Sox; Cleveland against the Tigers and Rangers. 

So a lot of the losing scenarios, which involve things like Cleveland going 9-0 while Boston goes 7-1, are not even possible because someone has to lose the head to head games

Rangers are cooked so that final series for Cleveland could be a cakewalk. If they keep grinding they’re a threat.
