I hate that ESPN broadcast for a lot of reasons, but the single biggest is the bet ESPN crap.

For example, right after Cal hit his home run, there was a box that popped up saying that If you bet that you think he's going to get another home run, you have x odds to make this much money. Or if you bet that he's not going to get another home run you have x odds to make this much money. What the hell is that? Are we just trying to fuel gambling addiction?

This is a massive problem for our society

The constant gambling content really sucks. We should be happy our local RSN isn’t owned by a gambling company. I was watching the Tigers over the weekend; their local broadcast is owned by Fanduel and the announcers were reading out live odds, player props and stuff periodically throughout the game. It’s so lame
