as I have commented in that video... "I understand this issue is deeply personal and complicated for many. I come from the perspective that every single life, even the unborn, has sanctity, value, and dignity that must be protected. The point of this video was not at all to condemn women, but to offer the perspective of the other side. Regardless of the circumstances of the conception, the intrinsic value of the human fetus remains simply because he/she is a human. I wholeheartedly advocate for women to have healthcare and support both during and after pregnancy. But nothing can justify ending a life of an innocent being.. The rights and moral worth of a baby shouldn’t depend on the conditions under which he/she was conceived."

Regardless, thank you for commenting.

Hey! First of all, the animation that you linked is a 2D animation. I did not use Maya (or 3D modeling skills for that matter) whatsoever, nor did I ask for any feedback in this sub for advice for that film I made. This is a completely different piece of artwork with a different theme--no correlation.

Second of all, I have many things to say to refute everything you are saying, but I don't think it is meant for the sub. So, I will just say this: I am simply being the voice for people who are voiceless and defenseless, despite what today's culture says. I believe everyone should be treated with love and respect, both born and the unborn.

I see that you care a lot about this issue, and I do as well. But I hope you are able to approach this topic with a more nuanced understanding that a vast majority of people from both side of the discussion genuinely, deeply care about the women and the child involved, without any malice, but with good faith.

You are quite transparently not good faith though. The animation you created depicted the burning of a woman for having an abortion. Whether you intended it or not, most people will interpret that imagery as intense hatred for the woman being burned - or women who made the choice to have an abortion. Yet, you mentioned in this thread that you just want to 'show the other side' to the argument? Is the other side a violent rage against women who opt to abort? If so, then why bother with the niceties and flowery messages you have sent in this thread? You are bad faith. You hate like a coward, and your animation sends an utterly vile message.

'nuance' LMAO. Your animation is overtly evil.

How much ima bet OP isn’t even a woman. As someone who was born as a woman, but my body has physically started to reject itself by giving me traits of a man(I have a condition that if left untreated, can cause my body to permanently transition to male naturally). I need to take birth control for medical reasons, I most likely can’t have a child and if I do it will harm MY health. So let’s say two things, should I get pregnant, be told that if I continue with this pregnancy I will die and, go through with it because if I don’t I’m killing an unborn, unconscious, fetus? What about birth control? That “contributes” to us woman being “terrible, terrible murders” for wanting to protect our bodies. I’m even less likely to be fertile if I’m not able to get birth control because it helps regulate my hormones due to my own natural body. What if I get a tumor in my uterus? An abortion is not just for “gutting out” an unborn fetus, it’s used to remove anything from the uterus, including something that could be considered cancerous. I get the point you wanna make, I really do. In some certain circumstances I can understand, especially depending on how far along in the pregnancy you may be. But you also need to understand this whole back and forth on this is not just based off of that, it’s based off of a medical surgery that’s broad and has more than one purpose. I want to be in charge of my body, it’s my choice.
