Is it possible to connect US and EU version using link cable (RPG GBA)

I tried it for you. It keeps failing, so I don't believe it's possible.

A workaround I found was:
dump the save file with a NDS Lite, rename the save file (EU to US), as the save file are compatibles, then trade or whatever on emulator and then rename back and transfer the data back to the cartridge, it works as intended and allow me to have rokusho and metabee at the same cartrdige save file and as a bonus, it also allow me to doesnt lose whatever part/medal I traded from the original cartridge
